The service was excellent! We arrived a bit early for check in but we’re in a rush to get to a wedding. Valli at the front desk made sure we got everything we needed to get to the ceremony on time. The restaurant staff were also very friendly and attentive.nThe room was very tidy and had a beautiful view of the river. We do wish there was a microwave in the room.nOverall, it was a great stay!
I would give this a zero-star rating. Attached are photographs from my previous review, which I removed to provide a more accurate assessment.nnThe hotel's concierge or management failed to provide the complimentary breakfast. I contacted IHG customer service from my room to address this, and they were equally surprised that breakfast wasn't included with every room, unlike other IHG properties. After IHG secured the complimentary breakfast, I ate, cleaned the room to its original condition upon check-in, and departed. Three days later, my credit card was charged $120, with an email citing a bedsheet stain as the reason.nnThis is unacceptable for a hotel chain of this size. This business practice is unprofessional and unethical. I will be contacting IHG customer service and expect management to be replaced with more competent personnel.nnEditnThere were no black stains on anything.
River views are beautiful, may need some work on the balcony floors but it is still quiet and nice. Jacuzzi tub was wonderful. Breakfast was overall good, but pastries a bit dry. Not enough of a bad to lower the stars. That bed was comfy and clean :nnMy recommendation for the hotel is to have Netflix available to sign into. Cable is boring
We stayed in a suite, literally so gorgeous! We had our son with us and needed a crib- which they provided right away and he slept so well in it. Amazing views and we just loved having 2 bathrooms- one with a beautiful waterfall showerhead and the other with a tub for our child, cannot recommend this enough! Plus, with the suite we got to have some time to ourselves after the baby went to bed because we had the separate room to relax in without being far away.nOur one issue: the mattress on our bed was lopsided. It was as if someone slept for years on only one side, so the mattress was very worn on one side. My side was fine but my husband was rolling half off the bed all night because of this.nOtherwise, this was an amazing stay, we will definitely be booking this next time we’re in town!
It’s a lovely property, with a great restaurant, and top notch customer service. Everyone had kindness and a smile. Abin, the gentleman that checked us in, was a hospitality superstar. So kind! The property is not a young one, but it’s been refreshed, and was comfortable. The back of the hotel overlooks the water, and the view was beautiful to wake up to. I’m a diamond elite member with their program, and I would stay here again. Cheers!
