1/30/26- As IHG Diamond members, we’ve stayed at many hotels. This was by far the nicest. I was upgraded to a suite which was clean and very spacious. The hotel manager, Michael, saw me struggling with my bags and rode the elevator with me and brought them to my room. Had dinner at the restaurant bar, which was also very nice. Bartender was courteous and attentive. Overall, wonderful experience. Highly recommend.
Omgosh where do I start! The young lad when we checked in was very professional and polite. We were gifted a little welcome bag that meant the world when you have been on the road for 11 hours. The bag only contained two water bottles and a small bag of chips and a dog bone for our pup. The gesture was very welcomed for us tired folks.nMy husband went down to get breakfast for us as we just wanted to eat in our room they packages every thing up so wonderfully.nThe floor we were on was lovely and quiet and just wonderful. The bathroom floor unfortunately had something sticky on it and that made us a little uncomfortable but with everything else we let it slide.nThen at checkout we were blessed to meet Kyneshia who had the best most warm smile and she asked us if our stay was okay and then I shared with her the horrible experience we had at the Holiday in in rocky Mount and told her how it was day and night. She said she was happy they could give us the experience we had. It was the best stay at any hotel on our journey of a month in hotels.
The rooms are clean. The nights were very quiet. I used the restaurant on a regular basis for breakfast. I prefer ordering from menu over buffet but you do not get to choose. It is whatever they offer for that morning. Kyneshia front desk was very polite and helpful at checkout. She was able to fix my receipt before I left the building. There are several other employees that assisted over my last stays but I do not have their names handy.
Our stay at the hotel was great and check-in was quick and easy. We truly had no complaints and loved the room. The only downside was that the room, hallways, and elevators were very warm, and we weren’t able to adjust the temperature in our room.nnKyneshia was incredibly kind and helpful — she really made our stay even better!
What can I say. The Holiday Inn at 2-8 Hawley St in Binghamton, NY is the best Holiday Inn we have ever stayed at. Rooms are spacious, clean and affordable. The front desk workers like Jen and Andy go above and beyond to make you feel important and you are well taken care of. The are welcoming with smiles and eager to greet you witj professionalism. We use this hotel for every stay, about 10 times a year and have never been disappointed. If something isn't quite right, the staff are quick and professional to find the proper solution.nI would highly recommend this hotel not only because of it's cleanliness, affordability and amenities but also because of the people.n6/5 rating in my books.
