Hoeft's Resort & Campground

We love coming to Crooked Lake. The campground has a ton of fun stuff to offer. They have an arcade, snack shack, bar, park and a very nice swimming beach. My father came from out of state and they decided to rent a cabin at the campground instead of a hotel for the week. It was a really great time and we were all able to visit and have a great time fishing and swimming. There aren’t a whole lot of tent sites but they are available. It seems to be mostly permanent sites but everyone is very friendly and we all really enjoyed ourselves all week while my father was here.

Been going here since I was a child and I'm almost 40 now. I love the peninsula sites especially the ones with lake access. Staff is always friendly and the prices are good. The store has the basics and the food stand has some good stuff. The beach is nice with a slide and raft. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is no sewer hookup. Will continue coming back and having a great time.

Our family has enjoyed spending the summer at Hoefts for many years now Great sites Very clean and well managed. Lots for kids to do. The beach is very nice. Excellent spot to enjoy good people and nature's beauty.

Beach, game room, tavern, store, basketball court, horse shoes, swings, slide, very clean bathrooms... Very clean everything. Reasonable. Fishing and swimming lake

Weekends are so busy - weekdays are slow and peaceful. Great for lake swimming and beach. Next time, I'll try a carbon water filter.

Had a great time camping. The old school slides are some of the best. The kids had a great time with the kiddie bike parade too. Great place to hear frogs and see turtles too, teach the city kids something about nature.

We now have 5 family generations who have owned seasonal, rented cottages or at least been visitors at Hoefts. Obviously, we love it.
