The room stinks. The bedding has holes and stains. The owner wouldn't give out wifi password, than started to make excuses. The towels were nasty. The old box tv wouldn't work right but had nothing but static. I should've spent $60.00 more for a better hotel room down the road. Guess, you live and learn.

We stayed here only because it was the closest place to the hospice center and wanted to be very close to our mom. This place was horrible! To put it nicely. The room had a very bad odor of mold and mildew. The floor was wet from the shower leaking through the wall. There was other patrons garbage left under the beds. The exhaust fan in the bathroom only worked half of the time. The air conditioner only seemed to work on one setting as well. The room was so small especially with 2 double beds. None of the bedding matched. Bed sunk when you sat on it. So many power strips and extension cords used to plug in 2 lamps, clock, TV, and a cable converter box. Couldn't open the window or curtain because one of the beds was up against the wall with the window and the curtains went to the floor. There were kids that played in the parking lot and around cars and were not very careful with their bikes and skateboards. They never came to empty the trash. We had to go to the office and ask for a new bag and left the full bag outside the door where it sat for most of the day. Our mom passed away the morning after we checked in so we asked if there was a refund policy due to that circumstance and she said no. We had paid for 5 days. So we decided to try and stay there a couple more days. We ended up just leaving on the third day. If you are in this area I DO NOT recommend staying in this motel. By far the worst place we have ever stayed in our lives.

Very reasonable weekly rates for construction workers but if you hate cigarettes,it comes through the vents in the bathroom despite being nonsmoking and I am a smoker.Otherwise fairly clean and comfortable beds, clean linens, pet friendly

I am writing this review at the end of my second week staying at this motel. I travel in my work and being happy with where I stay is very important to me. I need a clean room, a refrigerator, and a microwave. I need a quiet and pleasant environment, and, because I am traveling for work, not pleasure, I need a good value. I found all of these at the Maple Leaf Inn in Plymouth, WI. Upon arrival I asked to see the room first and I was shown a single queen room. It was smaller, but not claustrophobic. It had all of the above amenities and was clean. I asked what daily services I could expect and was told, like with most weekly rates for family owned motels, that they would completely service the room once a week but if I needed anything done in the mean time "just ask and we will take care of it". I did once call and ask that my room be serviced early. There was no hesitation on the owners part to agree and when I returned to my room that evening it was clean and I could still smell the bleach used to clean the bathroom. Through out my stay I watched as the owners worked every day to improve the property. The assembled brand new picnic tables, lounge chairs, there are outside grills available for guest use, and today I am watching as they assemble a Gazebo for guest use. They are currently renovating two of the 12 rooms in this motel. They keep the large lot cut and trimmed. These are non-smoking rooms and the owners make it very clear that guests are not allowed to smoke in the rooms. I am a smoker and appreciated the fact that all rooms have outside access and it was no trouble to step outside and smoke. There was a chair provided and a sand filled ash container which they clean frequently. I enjoyed complete privacy and the few times I did interact with the owners they were very friendly and accommodating. My 15 night stay was very affordable and pleasant. There is no doubt that if I return to Plymouth I will stay at this motel again.
