The best breakfast in Halifax! Family run business makes you feel like at home. Even just toast with peanut butter taste better than other place! Trust me, I have already spent a lot of time finding a good place to enjoy my breakfast after sending my son to the daycare. And this is my final choice of breakfast. I seldom leave any comments in google maps. It definitely worth to try!
Great little cafe. The butter chicken was delicious, as was the breakfast platter. Excellent service from the couple that runs the restaurant.
Best kept little secret in Halifax! You want some really good food but doesn't want to pay a hefty price because it's in somewhere posh? Located in the quiet Bayer's Lake business district along Hobson's Lake Drive inside the Canada Revenue building. There's nothing fancy in this "building cafeteria". Just really, really good food and great owners!
This little cafe has some tasty fresh food under glass, including yummy salads I like the tabouli salad. You can order a wrap stuffed full of healthy fresh veggies and grilled meat, or have a daily special like pan fried haddock. Way better than the local fast food joints! It has a good amount of seating if you want to eat in, or they are happy to prepare a takeout dish for you. Friendly staff, good food, fast service. Go there!
I enjoyed the happy service and bright room but the food was not great: potatoes undercooked, bacon was not good, and is expensive for smallish portions. I disliked they use styrofoam plates with a paper layer under the food. It could be a fantastic spot for a quick breakfast in Bayers lake. I will go back to try other things on the menu.

Absolutely delicious food! How did I not know about this place before in Bayer's Lake? WHOA! You gotta get their pan-fried cod :D
Locally-owned, great tasting fresh made food. The food is all healthy and prepared on site. If you are in Bayer's Lake, you should check them out.
Delicious food, great service, friendly owners and terrific daily specials at an unbeatable price. Will be back very soon!
