For over 17 years, Halifax Backpackers have provided affordable accommodations for international and Canadian travelers seeking an authentic Nova Scotian experience.

Story

We offer you a home away from home. Centrally located on Gottingen Street, the cities hippest, multicultural neighbourhood.

Here, we do things a little different. Social Friday BBQ's bring strangers together and friendly Tuesday Frisbee games create memories to share long after the trip comes to an end. Experience the heart of Halifax!

Low key sweet chill spot for coffee. Enjoy the atmosphere, great staff and authentic mixed group of patrons. Great service, my favorite is Altered Eggo and fruit shakes. I cannot speak to the hotel part of business.

Clean, quiet, roomy hostel. Laundry facilities on site. You get your own keys so arriving late after a show is not a problem.
