The food was good but the service is very bad and horrible. If you are very very patient, go there! And the owner which is our server doesn't care about giving service especially that we were only 2 customers.

I am a former employee and I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone! I caught the owner red-handed stealing my tips and pocketing the other server's tips as well. I witnessed the owner drop an entire tray of chicken balls on the filthy kitchen floor before he cooked and served them to his customers. A few days later, the same thing happened with a tray of egg rolls that was being prepared for an office Christmas party. Ho Wah's owner has been fined on numerous occasions for insalubrity, including the most recent fine for $2000 on the 1st January 2017.

A la carte "chinese food" restaurant... food is excellent fresh and well seasoned... decor is horrendous... service is okay
