Hines Plumbing Inc

I called Hines after NIPSCO turned my service off this morning for a gas leak and was told I needed the gas lines fixed or replaced. I received a call from Hines within an hour and they arrived about 1 hour later. By 5:00 p.m. I had all new gas lines and service was restored. Thank you for the great job by 2 guys who crawled through the mud in and out of the crawl space on a 90 degree day. Totally satisfied.

I have used Hines plumbing twice and they are always on time and courteous. I find their work good with a fair price.

Had a few issues going on at house with bath handles, expansion tank and water pressure. Was referred to Jack thru a work colleague. They showed up fixed everything in an hr. at a very reasonable price. Thanks again gentleman to a job well done.

I agree with Scott below. I called two weeks ago to schedule backflow prevention testing. I had no response so I called again 6/30. They said my phone was "out of service." I confirmed the phone number. It is correct. I have only had that number for the past six years. As of noon on 7/5 I still hadn't heard anything so I called someone else. The other company responded immediately and I have someone scheduled for 7/6, less than 24 hours from my call. Incidentally, the other company was able to reach me twice by that number within 15 minutes of my original call. It seemed to me I had trouble with Hines last year as well, although I suppose (being new to the area), I had too much patience. No longer.

I needed 20 feet of pipe cleared going to my septic tank. Called Himes first thing Monday morning and explained to the girl on the phone that the toilet was removed and I just needed the pipe routed to septice tank. She said "prices start at $345... I explained that I had most of the work done and she said a tech would have to look at it before I could get a actual price.. I than asked "according to your web sight quotes in Valparaiso where free correct? She didn't respond once again she stated a tech would have to look at it. I asked a second time. Still no response. Then I went ahead and asked for the tech to come out and she said one would call me... That was Monday as of Friday plumbing is fixed (I did it myself) and I'm still waiting on that call. Wow what service... Their mistake. I'm getting ready to remodel two bathrooms and a kitchen all of which need plumbing relocated. Hines will be the last plumber I'll call. Deceptive and non-responsive
