Dr. Young took extra care and kindness on my dental visit for a tooth extraction.  Wonderful dentist.  Staff were so patient and helpful!

Wish I could claim an experience similar to the other reviews.  I went in with some very severe dental pain in the left side of my mouth, and hearing loss in my left ear.  I pointed out a tooth I'd broken several weeks earlier and a crown that hadn't been well applied.  

Instead of looking at either of these two issues, the decision was made to pull my lower wisdom tooth.  I was back in roughly a week later with no decrease in pain.  The socket of the removed tooth was cleaned and packed.  Still no decrease in pain.

Finally tiring of my treatment (the cleaning/packing procedure was intensely painful, and it takes an act of Congress to get them to manage pain better than recommending ibuprofen and Tylenol)  I went to a new dentist in La Center.

The new dentist gave me the equivalent of an epidural at the site of the broken tooth, slightly numbing the lip as well, and my mouth is now pain-free.  In doing this procedure, he found exposed nerve (no freaking wonder it hurt) on the broken tooth.

3 weeks of pain, and a completely different dentist later, I'm finally scheduled for a root canal and crown on the very obviously broken tooth, that was apparently causing the problem all along.

The offices at Hilander are nice, the people are wonderful, but the treatment I received bordered on the absurd.

Dr. Pond and his staff are caring professionals who know their craft. I have never felt that they did not have my best interest in mind. I recently had a front tooth capped and when the crown came back I thought it looked great. Dr. Pond however thought it could be better and sent it back. That is the type of people you are working with here, the best of the best.

Dr. Young is amazing!! I have been terrified and had the worst anxiety when it comes to dentist appointments for all of my life, after today's experience I will no longer have the feeling of wanting to procrastinate and all together avoid my dental work he was there to listen to my concerns and when I had my tooth pulled it was absolutely painless the numbing part was painless as well not even a poke extracting a tooth was less painful than fillings I've had done other places in previous years..not only was Dr Young great the other staff was awesome too very quick and friendly I highly recommend highlander dental!!

Dr. Pond and his team of dentists, assistants, hygienists and front office staff around are the best in the business.   I would (and do) highly recommend them to anyone.
