One of the best sushi restaurants in Windsor. The quality, freshness, flavour and also was surprised by the sizes of the sushi pieces. They actually fill you! The vibe in there as well as the dishes are authentic. We love coming here and highly recommend a visit. Street parking or paid parking lot adjacent.
I recently dined at Hikari Sushi and was thoroughly impressed by the quality of the food and service. While it is on the expensive side, it is well worth it for the delicious and beautifully presented dishes. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome from the staff and the restaurant itself had a modern and inviting atmosphere. The menu had a wide variety of rolls to choose from, and every single one I tried was expertly crafted and full of flavor. The fish was fresh and the presentation was beautiful. In addition to the fantastic food, the service was top-notch. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, making recommendations and ensuring that our experience was enjoyable from start to finish. Overall, I highly recommend Hikari Sushi for anyone looking for a delicious and memorable dining experience, even if it is a bit on the expensive side. It's definitely a new favorite for me!
Very good sushi. Couldn't help but notice when we walked in, smells very fresh and the restaurant was clean. Good selection on the menu. This place has been around for a very long time, not surprised to see it has maintained high quality.Food: 5/5
We are coming here almost every week. Sometimes we order delivery, but prefer coming straight to the place because of their marvelous atmosphere. It’s cozy in here, you may have a privilege of l privacy during the meal. The food is tasty. Service is polite. Nice music and quiet aura. This is exactly what you need in case you are looking for home atmosphere or escaping from people. Also they have a great homemade wine, tea and lots of other beverages. Thank you for so nice place to have meal in!
What a wonderful surprise. A quaint Japanese restaurant tucked away in downtown Windsor. Food was good, service was spectacular. This is a must if you’re in the area. We ordered tempura, Korean BBQ ribs, Sashimi, Nigiri and a delicious roll. I didn’t get a chance to phot everything because we ate it so fast. Highly recommended!
I would say this is the best À la carte sushi restaurant in Windsor they don’t serve buffet. The food is excellent! The place is cozy and nicely decorated. Service is great too Decent price as well. Always come here if we don’t think of anything to eat!
Had first time proper Japanese meal experience in Hikari. So review is totally based upon the taste and not about cuisine or comparison with other Japanese restaurants. Sushi and fried vegetables were the best. Vegan Bibimbap was average. Avocado cream cheese sushi was the better compared to avocado cucumber one. Ambience is good and serving is up to the mark. Just one think to keep in mind that in weekends too they close their kitchen bit early, last order accepted at 9:15 pm.
Some of the best sushi I've had! I came here with my sister for Valentine's Day and it was an amazing experience. The service was great, atmosphere was amazing, food was delicious! Couldn't recommend more! Deep-fried cheesecake is an EXCELLENT dessert, 10/10 recommend.
I like the atmosphere, the restaurant is cozy. One can feel Japanese style from the moment you walk in. The foods are tasty and great, staffs are knowledgeable, friendly, and respectful. Sushi rolls and miso soup are addictive. The price is a little high but It is worth it.
Amazing! My boyfriend and I booked reservations for our anniversary here. We had been wanting to go here for a while but lockdowns made it difficult and we didn't want our first experience here together to be ordering takeout. The experience was well worth the wait!! The staff is amazing and polite, and the food came out in an orderly fashion, and fast, too! The portion sizes are pretty big, so the prices are definitely worth it. I would come back here again in a heartbeat! My only downside is the menu does not state the price of their drinks, we ended up paying nearly $4 for a can of coke. But otherwise this place is amazing and I am definitely going back when I can!!
