Hey Noodles
"Hey Noodles is a chain of casual noodle restaurants that specialize in Xiăo Miàn and originated in Chongqing, China. In the early 2000s, a Xiăo Miàn craze spread through China and the chain grew to more than 200 locations! The popularity of our food inspired us to open our first location in North America. On May 16, 2015, we opened in Toronto's vibrant Chinatown neighbourhood. Since then, we have continued to grow, opening six new locations that have been successful to the point where we get requests to open in new neighbourhoods on a daily basis. Our brand is an ambassador of Chongqing culture in North America, and we strive to treat every customer as a valued guest who wants to learn about Chinese food and culture."

Had the peanut butter dry noodles with crispy chicken. Tasted fine, crispy chicken was very meh, not worth the extra 2 dollars, maybe next time I'll stick with the included pork. Portion size is good, but there was less chicken than I would have liked. Notably they don't accept debit unless you spend more than $30 which was annoying, they don't use reusable cups for water think of all the paper waste : , and you have to order through the site, but you cannot pay there and have to walk up anyways.... Tipping 10% feels weird as the only service you get is a server walks over to give you your dish, they didn't refill our water pitcher until we asked, have to walk up to pay, along with the debit minimum and not being able to pay through the site just makes for a very mildly annoying dining experience.
Great little place for some nice spicy or non-spicy soup noodles. You can customize your own bowl to your liking and they also offer in-house made chili oil for $6. The noodles are bottomless so if you need a refill, just ask. If you pay by cash, there is a 10% off discount. Seating is limited here but they have delivery options too.
The food qualify is good. Prices are above average while the portions are small. Popcorn deep fried chicken tasted strange compared to normal deep fried chicken.
This place is a bit small, so it wouldn’t be able to accommodate larger groups. With that being said, I had a good experience here. It was super easy to order, you could place it on the Snappy app and it sends it directly to the kitchen. One thing I will say is that the service is fast, so I can imagine their turnaround time is quite good. The food here was tasty and they had a good selection of noodles to choose from. I will say that the price is slightly more expensive than you’d expect from a place like this, but it’s not completely outrageous.
Pretty good bowl of noodles and our server Elaine was very nice. I ordered less spice and less numbing because my friend warned me but it turned out to be pretty mild. Asked for chili oil to spice it up but still mild, will try regular spice next time. Soup broth could be hotter. I also tried the pork and chive dumplings which were pretty good. Would not recommend to anyone with nut allergies.
Similar affair to their downtown locations. Since the restaurant is newer, the decor and interior is also much newer and cleaner. Food was on par with the downtown locations as well, and wait staff were excellent. Don't forget to pay with cash for your free soft drink!Food: 5/5
Was pretty hyped about this place, given the high number of good reviews. Lives upto the hype. The apps and customizable bowls of noodles were good. And the bottomless noodles was key. Just don't drink all your soup right away lol The Sichuan beef soup was really good, the dumplings were just so so, and the bean curd was good as well. The staff aren't too patient but they are fast. Will be back.
Not the most vegetarian friendly place if you’re looking for ramen. It tastes good but there’s no vegetables really, while the meat bowls have lots more toppings. The broth was good, spicy even if I chose mild, which honestly I liked a lot. The place is cute and small, but wasn’t too full. Also everything is through your phone so it’s a bit hectic if you have any questions… but overall it was good!
Ordered here from Skip The Dishes. Portion was good but the soup was bland. I asked for regular spicy and less numb. However the soup tasted zero spicy and zero numb. It also tasted quite watered down. I’ve tried other Hey Noodles locations and the soups were always flavourful and actually were spicy. They did give quite a lot of noodles, meat and toppings so that was good.
Sesame noodle surprisingly good! You don’t feel the taste too strong, but it gives you a fresh and special taste - highly recommended. Rice and soup noodles both are nice and in good portion. Staffs are friendly and polite.
