This place had a relaxed atmosphere and it's a nice place to sit at the bar. There is a lot of choices on the menu. Unfortunately the food the last time we were there was not good. Our friends had fish which was overcooked and my chicken was extremely dry. The garlic bread was good. I like supporting family run businesses so we will give them another chance.

The food was really good. Perhaps a bit pricey but excellent.
The reason I'm not giving Heroes 5 stars is only because the manager, John, made me feel really awkward. I was already feeling awkward going out to eat by myself. It's like he was trying to be "too nice". I really wanted a quite meal, watch the game, and be alone. He slapped me on the back saying, "How ya doing, young fella?" I don't care to be touched 6 minutes after meeting anyone and definitely not when at an establishment trying to have a meal. Then before I left he gave the sales pitch for the place but I was already there and already ate my meal. He didn't have to sell me on the establishment any further. The food spoke for itself and was excellent. Honestly, I'm not sure I'll return or recommend only because of how awkward I felt afterwards. But if you're looking for good food Heroes hits the mark.

Food always good, service not so much. Last time we were here, and if up to my husband last time we go. We actually left after 45 minutes waiting on food. 10 minutes before server even acknowledged us. So we ordered food and drinks same time. Drinks came 10 minutes later. Drank 1 beer each and 25 minutes later still no food or explanation, what delay was on hamburger and fish and chips. Left $10. On table for the drinks and walked out!!!

We stopped in late evening just before 9 for a quick bite and felt rushed. Everyone was friendly, but we didnt feel welcomed, like they all wanted to wrap it up and go home. I usually wont go back to places like that. We were only getting chicken fingers dinners... easy. Onions rings were really good... huge, and crunchy. The chicken finger dinner was a good portion, but they should be for $12.00
Other than the feeling that we were not welcome, the food was good.
