My coworker and I occasionally make trips from Ottawa to Montreal, and we are always excited about stopping in at Herb's for breakfast/lunch on the way. However, the last time we went, my coworker ordered a ham and cheese omelette, and instead of a wonderful St. Albert's cheese(which they sell plenty of in the ajoined convenience store), it had a single processed cheese slice cut in half and placed on top. The picture in the menu, albeit of a different omelette, showed a generous amount of proper grated cheese, so we assumed it would be similar. 

Omelettes should never use processed cheese.

Also, their homefries didn't have any onions or seasoning of any kind.

Nice restaurant. Good food selection. Great service.
Clean and well equipped. 
Can be busy at dinner time.

Foods always good. Never had a bad meal great place to stop on the road between Ottawa and Montreal.

Truck Stop from Heaven!  Super clean,  great showers (2), new washers and dryers, lots of clean truck parking,  good fresh convenience and oh.....wonderful diner. Barber shop too!
