Location and Operation: The station is located in the Ahuntsic-Cartierville borough of Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and is operated by the Société de transport de Montréal STM.nHistory: It opened on October 14, 1966, as part of the metro's original network. It served as the eastern terminus of the Orange Line until the line was extended to Laval in 2007.nNaming Origin: The station and the boulevard it is on were named after Henri Bourassa 1868-1952, a journalist and politician known for his French-Canadian nationalist views and as the founder of the newspaper Le Devoir.nUnique Features: It is the only single-line station in the network to feature three platforms. It also functions as a part-time terminus, with some rush-hour trains still ending their journey there.nArchitecture and Art: The station is known for its unique architecture, which combines both older and newer sections, and features several impressive murals and a futuristic light sculpture.
#HenriBourassann.98, 2007 by Axel MorgenthalernnA mural of 98 three-color LED lights forming two triangles with a hexagon in the center. The images suggest the iconography of the Incas, the elements of nature, infrared photographs, and astronomical images.nnAs on a TV screen or computer monitor, the three basic colors red, green, and blue allow millions of colors to be displayed.
I payed for go in Orange line go to cote vertu, but the train not come, on other line have 6, or 7 times come to go, i said with the staff office in station, he said no, go and wait?. Really bad experience , i was late work, boss is called, payed, until need call my husband take me go.
Has a lot of different entrance which is fun to explore everytime but it isn't the cleanest station here and there is some days that feel like shady >.
The station is nice. They have a park nearby which is good a big bus terminal. The station has three platforms and they have a lot of shops or restaurants near by. That is a good sign.nnI home they improve this station everyday and make it better for us commuters and people.
