This place is my forever hair home!! I've been looking for a good salon for over 3 years and luck never seemed to be on my side. Now that has all changed. I love the fact that they give you a breakdown of the cost prior to doing it. I can't tell you enough the amount of times I was massively over charged in comparison to the salons website pricing or what I was quoted when I originally booked my appointment. The little extras they give at this salon are worth it alone. Hand massages and scalp massages are amazing and make me feel like I'm in a high end spa. I love the atmosphere the music so not too overpowering either. The conversations that carry on are respectful and mature. I've been to places where they actually slander other salons just to create gossip. The stylists actually listen you what you're saying and tell you the truth about what can be achieved during your visit. I will be a life time customer for sure.. I will never look back! I'm so glad I found Henning salon 😍😍😍

I went to Henning Salon this weekend to get a balyage colour and a hair cut with Priscilla. I can honestly say it was by far one of my most relaxing experiences I have had at Henning. My scalp is very sensitive so when I get my hair done I am prepared for my hair to be pulled and tugged and my eyes to water a few times. But in the end its always worth it. With Priscilla she was so gentle half the time I wasn't sure she was even doing anything because I couldn't feel a thing. It was nice to just enjoy the experience rather than tensing for my hair to be pulled every which way. The head, neck and hand massage was great and so relaxing. She gave enough pressure to massage but not enough that I was in pain. Priscilla listened to what I wanted and even went above and beyond to make my hair stunning. I am so pleased with the results. Henning Salon isn't just a salon its an experience. Its my treat to myself where I can go to be pampered and relax. If you haven't been you are missing out

Really disappointed in my experience at the Henning Salon! I made an appointment based on all the positive reviews and was booked in with Candice; it was a bit late in the afternoon and would be her last appointment that would go past closing time but I was told that would not be a problem and I appreciated them accommodating my busy schedule. I just wanted to get my hair donated, then a nice short haircut for spring; figured that it would be easy enough which is why I didn’t go to my own trusted stylist. I don’t get my hair done very often so when I do, I hope for a relaxing and pleasant experience! When I arrived, the host and the woman who did the head massage were very nice so the experience started off great until I met the stylist; when Candice came to talk to me, she seemed dismissive, disengaged, and uninterested. When I told her that I wanted to donate my hair, she immediately started braiding - I mentioned that it was coloured hair and she said that 10 inches would be fine. The discussion about my haircut was less than 30 seconds; I wanted to get her professional opinion and she basically told me what she was going to do. I had wanted something that was wash and go, low maintenance and figured I’d trust her since she was a “senior hairstylist”. The haircut was fairly silent and awkward, with her claiming that her razoring skills were excellent; I remembered being warned against razoring in the past but I had forgotten why, not having my hair cut for a very long time. I just trusted the word of someone who works daily with hair, and was told had worked with “Asian hair” as well. As I walked out with my new haircut, I found that it made me look and feel older, a feeling one should not have ever! I immediately booked an appointment with another hair stylist the next day who actually listened to me and worked with what I wanted! I was reminded that razoring on my type of hair is not good since every single razor cut is obvious and makes my hair more frizzy; to add insult to injury, I went to donate my hair and found out that coloured hair has to be at least 12 inches (which I could have easily donated), the other place doesn’t even accept coloured hair!! So, my 5 braids (they require 8-10 to make a wig) either gets sent to a charity in the United States or thrown in the garbage. Overall, my bad experience should not taint the whole reputation of the salon since it looks like they have a lot of good things to offer, but it certainly left me with a bad taste in my mouth and was a fairly unpleasant experience compared to other salons I’ve gone to.

Thank you for making me feel fabulous with my new hair! Love to visit this salon – everyone is so kind and professional, not to mention the atmosphere is simply perfect to relax and be wowed!
