We had an all around wonderful and tasty dinner tonight. The steak and lobster special preceded by the baked French onion soup were awesome and the seared scallops were huge and perfectly cooked. Excellent salads. Great drinks. Cheers to the Chef. Nice job.
Not really our style but I imagine older more traditional locals might enjoy it. Facility is old, dark and a bit run down, needs updates. Tiny men's room but clean. Very limited menu that doesnt even list the sides. No kids menu. No iced tea typical for a tradtional WI supper club. My food NY Strip was pretty good. 2 others got Prime Rib and said it was mediocre. Service was OK. Lots of other local places are better. Probably won't go back but I hope they continue to get local support. Kid-friendliness: NOT kid friendly.
Absolutely astounding service, atmosphere and food. We went there for a table of two and from the moment we stepped in the door the staff was making sure our experience was fantastic. I can’t say enough about how attentive the staff are. We ordered drinks and the bartender came over to our table to make sure we got exactly what we’d like and gave us many options based on our feedback. Truly a personal service. We both had 6oz filets cooked medium rare perfectly. I also had the scallops which were cooked perfectly, crusted on the outside and soft on the inside. The au gratin potatoes were delicious. Their homemade vinaigrette dressing was very tasty, and I enjoyed their chili to start, not too heavy a good amount of spicy and serving size was perfect as a starter. For dessert we had the chocolate cheesecake and the tiramisu, both were great! The atmosphere here is warm and inviting, the staff make you feel like a king and queen. Definitely recommend for a nice evening out with your loved ones.
Got the batter cod fish, very dry. I think it was sitting for a long time. Menu very limited. Pretty much fish or steak. Cost is extremely high. Our bill for 4 ppl was $140. Texas road house is 100 x better both in food and cost.Food: 1/5
Food was good. Limited items on the menu. The au gratin potatoes were probably the best I have ever had.
Food was okay but way over priced. Minimum price $30 for 5 shrimp average price $47 steaks were small and sides are smaller. I've brought our friends there as a thank you for helping us. We paid the bill, not broken down, and left. They knew our friends so called them on their phone to tell them the waitress forgot to add the drinks and made them drive back to pay for the drinks. That was beyond unprofessional and rude. This was our treat to them and they made our friends turn around and drive back for their mistake. The place was empty on a Saturday night for a reason..
My wife and I visited here tonight 4-7-18 it was our 34th Anniversary. The service and food were awesome! My wife got the prime rib and I got the ribeye! Very delicious! We were last there 25 yrs ago! They were great then, they have only gotten better every since! Our new found again restaurant! I recommend stopping there!
We go Friday evening for cocktails and Dinner. We love to see the people that work there they are all so friendly. And are always nothing but happy to see us.
Great food and great atmosphere! The staff couldn't have been more welcoming and accommodating. We enjoyed drinks at the bar engaged in conversation. I had prime rib, and my wife had the filet with scallops. All was delicious, and we highly recommend choosing the side of au gratins. Can't end a night out at a supper club without having a green frog! We really enjoyed the experience as well as chatting with the proprietor, Kurt, and his father. Thanks for a great night out!
Sat in a cozy table in back and had steak and lobster with French onion soup and potato pancake. Hubby had pan fried walleye with clam chowder and augratin potatoes and both of us had Bloody Mary's they were excellent! Service was impeccable, staff was very kind , food was wonderful! We will be going back ! A must go to restaurant!
