Waited a long time to eat, always takes awhile to start cooking, but this time was ridiculous. Finally another group of three came in. They were celebrating a birthday, we were celebrating our anniversary. Food was ok. Cook was friendly. Left feeling last time was better tasting food. Parking: No problem parking. Safe area. Clean. Dietary restrictions: The wait staff asked if we had any dietary restrictions, allergies?
The service was fantastic! The host was able to get us seated at the hibachi area right away even though they were very busy. They were a bit short staffed, so it took a while to get our chef. But the waitress did great with keeping our drinks full and getting our other food out promptly. Dietary restrictions: Waitress made sure I was safe and had my food prepared separately when I told her I had a shellfish allergy.
Staff were all friendly and nice. I have to say the roll was impressively and surprisingly good. For Hibachi, it was American Japanese Hibachi. The meat and shrimps were tender and balanced. There was no soul in the fried rice, just rice fry with soy sauce.
Udon delicious, loved it!!! Honey fried chicken, miso, fried rice all winners!! Nice decor, clean and comfortable. Fast friendly service. Highly recommended! A little expensive, but well worth it!
Had a wonderful time, as always. Our server Ivan was fantastic. Very polite, attentive , fast, and a fun sense of humor. The food was phenomenal as always. Tried the Fire Island roll pictured and it was delicious and of course the Hibachi was amazing as always. It's not cheap but the portion sizes definitely make up for it. Can't wait to go back
10 out of 10! Omg, we went on Christmas Day and from the time we sat down to the time we got up, it was perfect! The food is amazing! Every bite was phenomenal even the next day! We ordered a lot of food and every last item was a 10! I’m going back again this week because of it! The food was sooo good I stopped taking video.. I couldn’t stop eating! Lol
Was quoted a 45 minute wait, currently have been here for 2 hours. They moved us to a side room, appears they have now forgotten about us. Oop now I’m finishing my review, going on 3 hours. We still have not been served and haven’t seen a chef. This is terrible. Wish they would offer us some appetizers or something???
They are always willing to accommodate my dietary needs - celiac disease, gluten and dairy free! They have always been so accommodating! We’ve been there SO many times and I’ve never been disappointed or felt sick from my food. They cook my food separately in the back and bring me gluten free soy sauce. Highly recommend! We've been here before and the food has always been good, but service & ethic is iffy. The service this last visit was absolutely unprofessional! We waited longer than the 30 min we were told we choose 1st available. When we ordered we were told sushi would be about 30 min & food may be out before the sushi was done. 1 hour passed & no food or sushi, while the table in front of us that arrived after we did was on their 2nd sushi boat. When we told the waiter, she had no explanation! I cancelled the sushi, our hibachi food came 15 min later. After reviewing the check, they had us as a party of 6 & added the gratuity. It was 4 of us!! We told the waitress to remove the gratuity, as we would pay it cash, not on the debit card & she acted surprised as if she didn't know the gratuity was on the check. This is the 2nd time they add gratuity to my check & it isn't stated on their menu, door, host booth, nothing. They pick & choose who & when to do it. We've been there multiple times in the last years & never had this happen before. We always tip & don't mind paying for good or service. I know it was busy yesterday, but we will not be returning.
The wait time during the dinner rush on a Thursday was very reasonable, and the staff were friendly. My brother, his girlfriend, and I all bought 2-3 sushi rolls apiece, and shared them all on the same platter. It was absolutely perfect, and beautiful looking food. We finished them all and were very full. Even though the price is fairly high here, you definitely get what you pay for.10/10 would go here again.
