A little Thurs night dinner at Hector's in Laconia.nnWarning!! If using Google maps to find this place, it is a logistical disaster.nRestaurant is located in an area with a lot of one-way streets. The building is also surrounded with do not enter signs from 2 of the 3 access points.nOnce we got in the waiter was friendly and attentive.nWe were in the mood for pasta.nStarted with a Diet Coke and lime. Wife had a Summertime Sangria. It was refreshing!nOrdered Chicken Scallopini,better half ordered Shrimp Mediterranean.nnScallopini was tender and juicy with a light lemon sauce. Served over spaghetti.nIt tasted good not the best or worst I ever had.nShrimp Mediterranean tasted good. Shrimp were a little rubbery.nnFinished off with dessert, we ordered mud pie . Consisted of coffee ice cream w chocolate chips inside a chocolate pie crust. Dollup of whipped cream on the side. Good not great had better store bought. Overall okay.nOur Waiter was very good.

After some antique shopping and walking, we stopped in for a light lunch. Service was quick and friendly. Soup and sandwiches were hot and fresh. Food was tasty and not too salty. Overall a pleasant experience for a fairly inexpensive quick lunch.

Travellers, Hector's is a solid dining experience. Everything here was good and the service is with a smile. The restaurant is cheery and it is in downtown Laconia. The corn chowder was good. The Caesar salad was good too. The Italian wedding soup was delicious and so was the fish and chips. We got the sweet potato fries and they were light and crispy. There is also wine and beer on the menu. A nice lunch and worth the stop. Check it out. We recommend.nnTLDR -- Solid downtown dining

Our server Jen was fantastic and made my wife and I feel like royalty coming in for supper. The food was exquisite and even Gordon Ramsay would have to agree the dishes are on point. The atmosphere feels clean and modern in the renovated mill building in the old downtown part of Laconia by the river. A+ for everything here!

I live 4 minutes from Hectors and I feel lucky. My family eats here often, never fails. I get the steak tips with fries and cole slaw and it's the freakin best, every time. Service is nice and kind. It's just down home good normal food.
