While I've never taken a course at HEC Montreal, a post-secondary institution, I did attend this location for a week-long NACLICS PhD Conference in May-June 2023 - and I was impressed. The building is modern, well planned/utilizable, and well maintained but, to be fair, that's similar with most highly rated educational institutions and surrounded by beautiful greenery. However, what set this location apart was the people. The faculty were uniformly brilliant, and accessible for personal discussion, and the staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly even when I didn't speak the main language [French]. Overall it was a pleasure attending HEC, and I hope to find another opportunity to visit again ... soon.

They are knowledgeable and dedicated, taking the time to ensure that students are well-prepared for success in their chosen fields.nnIn addition to the academic experience, HEC Montreal also offers a wide range of extracurricular activities and student services. There are a number of clubs and organizations to join, and the student services office is always available to provide support and assistance.nnThe campus itself is also beautiful, with a range of modern and well-maintained facilities. It is a great place to study, live, and socialize.nnOverall, I would give HEC Montreal a full five stars. It is a must-attend for anyone looking for a top-quality academic experience in a welcoming and supportive environment.
Attending HEC's BAA + preparatory year has been the best decision I've ever made.nnWhile some complain of the difficulty or course load, I believe the assignments are grounded in reality and the rigor is a testament to the preparation the school gives you.nnHEC has been an innovative school since its inception, with programs such as a unique business intelligence undergrad and a world-leading UX master's. The possibilities are endless, and offerings like AGIR and La Base really prove that this school is what you make of it.nnAs a french-american, this has been the perfect fit for me. I highly recommend others in my demographic to attend if they want to benefit from the ambition that makes north America great, and the social benefits that make France and Quebec so affordable.nnIf I had to improve one thing, it would be to make it easier for undergrad students to take master's level classes, similar to how MIT and Stanford allow all their students to.
