We went for their soft open at the Washington Heights/Uptown Crossing location.. Decent space and nice people were working. They have a few stools in front of each window for seating. Taking your food down to Vennture and grabbing a beer/coffee is also an option. There are some drinks in the cooler. We both got brisket 1 meat dinners. The greens are only available on the weekends. Sides pictured are mqc n cheese, dirty rice and potato salad
We were finally able to make it down to Heaven’s Table BBQ and it was great! Fast, friendly service and the food was great. I was in and out in around 15 minutes and they also have seating for a couple of groups. Their setup is really cool and you can see the fresh meet while deciding what to select and watch them cut and prepare your dish right in front of you. I went with the Sherman bowl with rice and it was great! I can’t wait to go back and try their other options. Enjoy local!
I got the “Joe” which consists of 3 meat choices and 3 sides. I got double TIPS and subbed one meat for ribs which was a $5 up charge. My family said the meat hands down was 5 stars! The seasoning, tenderness, smokiness, and charring were all A++! For sides I got dirty rice - the seasoning was really good but the rice was a little softer than I like I’m a texture person. The Mac was basic it needs a little work but my son loved it because it was cheesy. I think the family agreed the coleslaw was the star of the sides. Even those that typically don’t like coleslaw. Last but definitely not least, customer service, top tier! This was my first time trying this place so I asked a few questions and Vincent was nice about answering and even giving me info on certain items. He even let me sample a piece of the turkey tips and I’ll be getting those next time. Would I go again, yes! Vegetarian options: A few of their sides are vegetarian. Kid-friendliness: Yes. Parking: Street parking. You may have to park a block away. Wheelchair accessibility: No. There are a few steps to get inside the building.
I had a taste for barbecue so I decided to try this place out. I ordered the “Mosley” which is 1.5lbs of meat & 2 pints of sides & bread. Brisket & rib tips was my meats & Macaroni and cheese, greens & sweet potatoes was my sides. The brisket is decent but dry the ribs are flavorless with paprika on it. The macaroni is made with penne noodles & jalapeño nacho cheese. The greens had no flavor & the sweet potatoes was probably the best. I wanted some dessert so I ordered the banana pudding which was bland. I spent about $60 for all of my food which was not worth it at all.
I ordered brisket with baked beans, mac n cheese and jalapeno cheddar cornbread. Overall it was really good. The brisket had more fat then I would've liked, but it was well seasoned and tender. The bbq sauce was was delicious. My favorite thing I ordered was the cornbread. It was amazing and they gave a nice size piece for $2. The mac n cheese wasn't my favorite, but it was went well with the bbq. The baked beans, while very tasty, weren't what I expected. They were more like kidney beans with some sauce on it. I wish the sides were alot bigger, but they definitely give you decent size portion of meat for the price. I would definitely return and get the same thing or try try other things on the menu. Also, the staff were nice and even gave my friend and I a free bottle water. Small place, but good atmosphere.
Grabbed some smoked brisket, sausage, and rib tips along with sides of mac & cheese, coleslaw, and potato salad. The brisket was super tender and the sausage was juicy! Some of the best bbq in the city. Not a large space for dine in, so took it over to Vennture next door to eat.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: NoTakeout: YesDelivery: No
The rib tips were extremely tender, spaghetti was very sweet and the green beans are heavily seasoned with pepper.
In town to visit family and stopped in for lunch. Had the brisket sandwich with chips and cornbread. It was all delicious. The brisket had a delicious cracked pepper dry rub. Meat was tender. Didn't need BBQ sauce, but tried it anyways. Sauce was good too. I'd come back and would recommend.Food: 5/5
Very good Smokey flavored brisket because it IS smoked! I am not a big fat person when it come to my beef but I ate every morsel of my brisket. Would definitely eat here again. Take out pro-tip: air fryer is your best friend for takeout fries or fried food.
Pulled Pork Sandwich is amazing. I would also suggest trying the dirty rice. They smoke meats fresh daily and have different menu items added depending on the season or days of the week for example, Salmon on Fridays. Dope local business.Food: 5/5
