Iron Grate BBQ

The Greens are right at the top, and probably #1 or #2. Next to real homemade greens. Take my word and try a side. While you're at it also order their Mac & Cheese too!? Really, I recommend trying everything. You will not be disappointed.

Very tender meat and a wide selection. The side of macaroni and cheese was quite bland. The bread and rolls were good. The best meat was the pork belly burnt ends. Overall, good, glad I went but tasted a little bland.

Just "ok" barbeque. The brisket is fatty and there sauces are limited. Also you can't dine in; everything is to go, they seem a little covid paranoid compared to some of their restaurant neighbors. The menu is confusing, and they offer no fries. What barbeque place doesn't offer fries?? Did I mention it's a little pricey?

Come for the BBQ... Stay for the green beans... for this thing they do to beans raises the simple and sends them to an outrageously magnificent sphere of flavor. Wow. Just wow. And if they can make green beans mind-blowingly outstanding, imagine what they can do for BBQ.

Prices are a bit high. Food is good but not phenomenal. BBQ sauce is delicious and the BBQ chicken cheese curd appetizer is da bomb!
