Really great spot to have lunch. The food is excellent. Try the grilled cheese sandwich and the BLT.....a real treat. On a return trip we tried their steak sandwich .... Excellent! The brownies are soóo good as well. The staff are very helpful and friendly. If you want to eat there they only have outside eating.
Saw an advert for the place so decided to stop by while my Daughter was at an event nearby. Was not disappointed. High quality meats and a very good selection. Lots of other gourmet item to choose from. Very nice staff. I also tried their coffee, an Americano, it was outstanding. Will caution you about their coffee lids; not so great. Overall, wonderful.
We’ve been frequenting Heatherlea for years. It is the best. It is our favourite spot for local high end meats and delicious artisanal food products, as well as excellent take out meals that can be ordered online or in store. The more recent addition of online shopping and local delivery has been amazing as well, but I still love going into the store to look at the lovely products and beautiful displays of local and artisan goods they have in store, which make for lovely gifts. The staff are always friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They will have our business as long as we live in the area.
Self-serve eat-in section cafe is small with a few tables and some chairs - seemed good enough to sit and have a quick bite or just coffee. We couldn't buy any food items from the cafe for takeout either, as we were told that the kitchen closes an hour before the store closes. We couldn't sit for coffee either as all tables were taken. It might not be good for visitors, but perhaps a good place for local people who live nearby and can drive by casually.
Glad we found this wonderful business by a farm family. Great hospitality and good food. Top of the line beef and groceries too. Order online and head out to pick up order. Wish we lived closer.
Amazing steak sandwich, a must try!!! The Mexican pulled pork sandwich was good but it gets a bit soggy bc of the brioche bun! Super friendly staff! Bravo!!
Decided to try this place as I heard many good things about it. Grove 45 minutes to get there wasn't to busy I went straight to the butcher and selected my meats I was looking for a rib eye they did not have. It's my favourite cut of steak so I went with another piece. I bought 10 lb of ground beeffreezer section bought some chorizo and hamburger. and I decided to try their butter tarts which were very good. I want to really try those barbecue chicken with blue cheese sausages
Was in there today. They had some challenges with equipment and staffing, but the service was exceptional and we enjoyed sitting out on the patio and having refreshments. Will definitely return.
UPDATE: 21/09/2019 Still amazing! Great spot to grab a really good quick bite and pick up great meats and baked goods!
Almost afraid to share this because I love how small and family oriented it is. It is worth the drive for the products and the people. A gem
