Always an amazing experience. Everyone is friendly and approachable. Also, pricing is very reasonable which makes it so much easier to properly look after your pet.
I took my new rescue pup for the very first time since he came to Canada. I was very worried as he is scared of everything! Heartland staff was absolutely amazing!!!!! I can not say enough about how welcoming and loving they were with him! They have many options for your pets care including pet plans and we are very happy with the services provided. Highly recommend for your fur babies
We were very pleased with our urgent care visit for Phoebe. We were thankful that she could be seen the same day and that our concerns for her were taken seriously. We were given all options as to her care and treatment and did not at any time feel pressured. Thankfully, after her visit and treatment, Phoebe is already feeling quite a bit better and is behaving more like her old self. Thank you for your amazing care of our beloved kitty!
Extremely disappointed with Heartland. It appears that this vet is a money-hungry business. Prices are ridiculous, especially for a simple checkup appointment, which costed us over $100. Not only that, but they have absolutely no idea what they’re doing. Made us pour over a thousand dollars into multiple appointments, tests and drugs, without even being able to identify what was wrong with our pet. We made the choice to take our pet to another vet recommended to us, and Heartland can’t even compare to our new vet. Heartland looked at our pet for weeks and couldn’t identify the problem while our new vet needed only 15 minutes to know everything that was wrong, and was able to treat our pet properly within a week. In addition, our new vet revealed that the medication that Heartland gave us was actually damaging our pet’s kidneys, and was really disappointed that they gave our pet this medication with no info on what was wrong with out pet. Heck, unlike heartland, our new vet doesn’t even charge for check up appointments, showing that he actually cares about the animals, and not the money. All this is causing us to think that Heartland is faking the tests, medication, etc, and that we were being taken advantage of. Oh, and to add on, my pet was put down here over a year ago. Beginning to think that back then, if I went to the vet we’re at now, which actually KNOWS what they’re doing, my pet could still be alive today. To sum up, for the safety of all of your pets, CHOOSE ANYWHERE BUT HEARTLAND.
Obviously you’re reading reviews because you’re searching for a vet….your search can stop NOW!! I have nothing but positive things to say about Heartland Niagara Animal Hospital! The staff A+++ The Dr.’s A+++ Their facilities A+++ We lost our last little girl 3 1/2 years ago and they made the process as calming as it could be. At such a horrible time, I left with a relaxing calm about me knowing I did the right thing. We now have another little peanut and there was no question she’d be a patient of theirs. We’ve made it through all her puppy vaccines/treatments and just had her spayed last week. Again, their services and care were top notch and I’m just so thankful for them all!! Lacey loves you all!!
They were very, very nice to me there. From the phone call to get a vet to get y5booking the apt to the visit. The assistant was very sweet & patient with me. Which I really needed at a time like that. My cat is everything to me right now I know that sounds like alot..but I lost my daughter last yr and my 2 cats got me through some very dark days. They got me through more than they will ever realize So it was a difficult time & to have someone finally treat you nicely and professionally. Well that meant a lot to me, kindness goes a long ways Thank you Heartland
The staff was very welcoming and I felt very comfortable bringing Armand my pet rabbit here. I felt they were very knowledgeable when it came to his care and their first time offer was a great way of showing they care more about the animals than the bottom dollar which I respect and appreciated.
Scam Don’t be fooled When they first opened things were great, however the greed quickly took over and taking advantage of people became #1. If you do decide to go to heartland get a second opinion before feeling pressured to follow through with their requests. I know I would do anything for my pets and they know that as well. I understand it’s a business but not at the expense of others and their pets. Get that 2nd opinion before you make your choice, Best thing my family has ever done!!!!
Thank you so much for seeing my dog so quickly even though I had never brought him in before! The whole team was so positive and friendly and I would highly recommend to anyone who asks!
Love this vet clinic! Dr. Olivia and all the vet tech and receptionists are so kind and caring. They give their all and best advise every appointment.
