We brought our 6 mo kitten in for a neuter and 6 days later he died. It was an infection of the incisions that they had to make because one testicle hadn't dropped. We were given no antibiotics of any kind. We had paid $850 for this and of course they won't refund anything. It's just so shocking. Is this a good clinic? Maybe, but we checked with other vets after the fact and they have been saying that it's common to send any pet home with antibiotics after a surgery to fight off infection. I regret not knowing or insisting on this when we picked up our little guy.

Good care. I trust them with my beloved friends. They were compassionate when we lost our young cat to heart failure and our 14 year old dog to lung cancer. I currently entrust my 14 year old feline friend to their care, as well as my canine companion. No hesitation to recommend Head to Tail.

Had an excellent experience at this vet hospital. Very helpful and friendly front desk staff. Dr.Stuart was very kind, honest, knowledgeable and forthcoming about the cost of the procedures but also only recommended what needed to be done. Very happy with our healthier and happier pup! Thank you Head to Tail.

I was looking for a new vet and got an appointment with Dr. Rebele. My dog was experiencing some redness behind his eye that has a cataract. Dr. Rebele examined his eye and took his eye pressure. He told me that my dog has glaucoma and will have to get his eye removed. I was devastated to hear this news. Dr. Rebele had said that he can do the eye removal himself or an eye specialist can do it. I told him that I would like to have a second opinion in order to see if anything can be done to save his eye. I ended up taking my dog to the eye specialist and it turns out that Dr. Rebele was wrong in his diagnosis. MY DOG COULD HAVE LOST HIS EYE BECAUSE OF HIM. I am so grateful that I chose to see a specialist that actually knew what she was talking about instead of this vet because I couldn't imagine putting my dog through losing his eye for no reason. The specialist told me that the eye pressure reading that Dr. Rebele took was way off because of the way he and the vet tech were holding my dog's head. I ended up spending $600 at Head to Tail Vet and the eye specialist because of this vet's wrong diagnosis. To top it off, the receptionist from Head to Tail called a few weeks later to book another appointment for my dog. I told her that I will no longer be bringing my dog in to that location. The receptionist could care less and just said "okay, bye." If you love your pets, DO NOT bring them to Head to Tail... who knows what body parts they will lop off just to make a buck.

I have to say, this hospital is amazing. Their staff is caring and kind. I have had more than one emergency and the vets are AMAZING too. Dr Rebel AND Dr Stuart care and are in the business because they truly love animals and you can see that when they work with them. Dr Stuart also knows about training and behaviour, which is amazing for a vet, so she can be helpful for little tips too. Their prices might be a little higher, I've heard, but I don't care if my pet is safe and cared for. I left my other vet to go here, if it wasn't for Dr Stuart, she would have died without me knowing why, she had liver cancer and the other vet just brushed it off.....by the time it was found, it was too late but Dr Stuart knew right away that it was her kidneys or liver and sent her for a rush ultrasound...we got two weeks that we wouldn't have had with her. Love them here :)
