Wonderful service. We're always greeting with a warm smile as soon as we walk through the door. We've had great experiences with different Doctor's here, and they always treat our dogs with a lot of compassion and kindness. You can tell they genuinely want to help. We recently took our dog in for a routine exam where we showed Dr. Hunter a lump on her leg. She decided to do some testing to be safe, and the results came back as a malignant tumour. The pre and post surgery care provided by Dr. Hunter and all the staff was great. We're very grateful. Highly recommend Dewdney Animal Hospital.

Dr. Walton seems to be more interested in self promotion and profits than in helping animals. He no longer has time to help the rescued animals from the SPCA. Shame on you! This used to be a great clinic with a social conscience. Sadly this is no longer the case.

I brought my dog there after she had a seizure. He was the closest vet and to me it was an emergency. He was very nonchalant about it. Told me to just make sure she doesnt drive. Also asked me if I gave her pot, why the hell would I do that? She also had an ongoing ear infection but when he "examined" her he didn't even insert the instrument into her ear, it was pointing at the wall, she was moving around and I guess it was too much trouble for him so he pretended to take a look and said no problem here. His mind was not there at all, kept looking at the clock cause it was close to lunch time. I took her to another vet who diagnosed an ear infection and actually scolded me for letting it get so bad. He treated her and it cleared up in a few days. As for the seizure he so casually dismissed as nothing to worry about, it turned out that my little girl had a brain tumor. I just lost my best friend today after driving all the way to Saskatoon for radiation treatment. Words cant describe how devastated I am and I have so much guilt for not starting treatment sooner because I was told " it's nothing to worry about". The oncologist and neurologist told me if your older pet has a seizure, 95% of the time it's because of a brain tumor. So if your older pet does have a seizure, for it's sake take it to a vet that is genuinely concerned about your pets health right away, not someone who is more concerned about going on his lunch break. You attitude just disgusts me. You have absolutely no interest in your work anymore and are just going through the motions at this point.

You can tell that they all truly love animals and their jobs. Friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating staff. So nice to see all the smiles everytime I have been there.
