We love Alouette Animal Hospital! The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and able to fit our dog into their schedule today, and our dog absolutely loved the pets, treats and attention. Dr. Wong asked good questions, took the time to examine Fintry thoroughly and explained possible treatment options with a detailed quote. There were no surprises at the till. Great experience! We highly recommend Alouette Animal Hospital to others.
OVERPRICED for performing the bare minimum.nI’m a new cat owner and wasn’t too familiar with the cost of kittens being vaccinated I had just heard they weren’t too costly as it’s such a common practice. I brought my kitten to get his first set of shots and was charged $170 for the first set he needs 3, the amount seemed high so I called 5 other local vets after I left, and they were ALL consistent and gave me a quote for a MUCH more reasonable price. I noticed they had also charged me for a checkup which I did not ask for or needed since he was just checked less than 2 weeks prior at the same vet. I’m taking my kitten to a different animal clinic that charges 180 for all 3 sets of shots and wont be performing services I didn’t ask for or charging what they feel. I also want to note, during my first visit at this vet, I brought my kitten to have some tests done to confirm wether he is deaf or not I was pretty sure because he wasn’t reacting to any noise the tests consisted of them going behind a door and making noise to see if he reacts. Supposedly they checked an ear canal but that was in a different room and took about a minute so I don’t assume it was anything complicated. The charge for doing what I had done at home make noise to see if he reacts was $120. Again, I received a much cheaper quote at any other clinic in the area all the other clinics seemed to have a higher customer rating as well . I also asked regarding the greasy fur coat around my kittens neck and there was no answer to what could be the cause and how to prevent it, the doctor and assistant both seemed unsure.nFrom the 2 interactions I had with this doctor, she seemed disengaged, short and extremely over priced. The receptionist was the only person that seemed to be engaged or care about the clients.
This animal hospital has some of the most patient, kind and understanding people I’ve met. I started taking my dog here last year and have nothing but good experiences. My dog deals with some vet anxiety and they are very accommodating to her needs. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good vet experience.
Alouette Animal Hospital takes care of our dog and cat thoroughly. They are patient, attentive and have helped us through some scary times. The office staff are also so helpful and efficient! They book appointments as soon as possible, and have made time in cases of emergencies. Thank you.
I've been going to this vet since 2006 and I have nothing but amazing things to say about them. They truly care about all their clients and provide excellent service every appointment. They were especially wonderful when I had to euthanize my old fur baby- that was one of the hardest days of my life, and their compassion did not go unnoticed
