Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Fishkill/Poughkeepsie Area

Nice, comfy rooms. Appreciate a full kitchen so I can cook my meals. Had to ask for cookware because apparently everyone steals it when they leave. Nice size gym and laundry. Pet friendly for a fee. Friendly staff. Was not very accommodating to weird check in or out times due to travel plans and work schedule. Somewhat understandable since it seems very busy around here during summer. Overall very good place to stay.

So when we first arrived to our room it had a weird musky smell, it wasn’t pleasant it didn’t smell clean. The room itself is very spacious, nice kitchen, comfortable bed, however… the sheets weren’t the cleanest so we went and bought our own sheet and comforter. The bathroom is nice however filthy, there was garbage on the floor in the bathroom and the shower floor was black and needed some bleach. You can tell the room is poorly cleaned. In the kitchen we went to use utensils they were all dirty. Would i stay here again? Probably not, especially the price of the room for one night. Cleanliness should be a priority, you guys need to improve on that.

Roomy condo style hotel rooms. Quiet and lots of BBQ grills and seating areas outside if you wanted to do that. Breakfast wasn't great - one of the waffle irons was not working and the line was long, the omelets and sausages were served cold if you got there 15 min before close. But the room had a full kitchen and it was clean and pet friendly and close to all the attractions. We'll be back.

Probably the best Hotel I've ever stayed at. The rooms are definitely more like full out apartments. With a full kitchen, including a stove and dishwasher, really conferable beds and a good living room space. I enjoyed the art hanging in the room. The TV was a great size. I also enjoyed the outside arias, the pool and BBQ spaces. The outdoor grills where actually impressive. the staff was very friendly. Making this place all around worth it. It's nice well traveling to be taken care of. This place does just that!

I stayed at this establishment for the holiday weekend, as I brought my son back to school in Hyde Park. I wanted to tour the area, relax and catch up on some work. The customer service was excellent, the suite was spacious, cozy and clean. Overall, I was very pleased with my stay. I had a minor issue which was handled very quickly and appropriately by the polite lady at the front desk. I will definitely be staying here again in the near future.

Nice location, nice concept, but very poor cleaning. First room smelled of marijuana, the second had white power spewn across the chair, hair strands and stains on the beds, dried juice blobs on remotes and surfaces, cigarette burn in dining table, clinking fan, and fingerprints all over the french doors. Felt very grossed out to even sit on anything. Planned to stay for almost a week, but left after one night as I had flown in the night we arrived. We've booked accommodations elsewhere to complete our stay in the area.

These are not hotel rooms. These are townhouses. We had a loft upstairs with a king bed and full bath. Downstairs had a separate master suite with a full bath and french doors leading to a small livivg room. There was also a kitchen with a dining are. For the price for the area on an Army football home game weekend at West Point it was far better than any other option we'd seen. About 30 minutes from the academy.

I booked my room and after camp across the reviews. After reading several, I became very concerned about the cleanliness as per reading dirty sheets etc. I called to see if I could cancel but the operation manager asked to give him the opportunity to see his hard work. So I did. I arrived early, they not only let me check in , but waived my 50 dollar deposit and also Khalil walked me to the room to make sure it was up to my standards. The young lady at counter was equally very helpful and professional blonde hair , glasses thank you for going above and beyond. I hope your hard work does not get over looked!!! I understand people do not appreciate other people's property and has to be extremely hard maintaining top quality. You both go above and beyond!!!!

The rooms were nice but toilets are like kid sized, super low to the ground. It took a while to check in and when trying to call the front desk after getting into the room was unable to get in touch with anyone busy signal or no pickup. They had suggested parking by our building but lot was packed had to end up parking by entrance, thankfully was in one of the first buildings there. It was really loud especially with all the trucks, etc driving by; if had a choice, probably wouldn't stay here again.

I took my fiancé here to get away and we loved the room and location. I would have given this place five stars if it weren't for the noisy neighbors throwing a party. This wouldn't have normally affected my rating until we found out it was the contractors who get to stay at the hotel while they were working on-site. We didn't think it was professional for the contractors to make such a loud commotion all night when customers are paying to stay as well. Aside from that we greatly enjoyed our stay.
