Went here for my birthday with my parents and siblings and the ambiance was gorgeous. Seems like a smaller place so we sat outside which was lovely. A little bit all over the place as we helped ourselves to silverware and wiping down our table but everyone was so nice and the food was so so good. Definitely will come back!
Tasty tostones and Crab cakes were spot on. The drinks were cool and spot on. The tortilla soup was surprising. Great service and nice outdoor atmosphere for plenty of people watching
We ordered Roasted pork, shrimps and mojitos, all of which are very delicious. We sat in the patio and enjoyed the atmosphere. With the pleasant weather in Chicago, I feel like back to Miami. It would be five stars if the service was faster. It was a very busy Satisfied night.
Food is absolutely amazing. Authentic Cuban food.. Acoustics are a little loud. Crowded at the time.. But the taste and quality of everything was top notch. I would recommend and definitely return..Food: 5/5
Delightful Latin restaurant with flavorful food and refreshing cocktails. We had pitchers of Caipirinha's and they were delicious. The yucca was nice and crispy, the guacamole sublime, and the habanero hot sauce a little on the mild side but delicious. Had a chicken dish that was not heavy at all and so yummy. I have been here twice on visits from out of town and will definitely go back. Lively atmosphere and friendly staff.
After having some awesome Cuban food out in Miami we decided to check out a Cuban spot here in Chicago. Food was good, very authentic taste. The mojito flight was very delicious and refreshing especially the Mango and Peach flavors. The Trio empanadas were crispy and juicy. I went with the Ropa Vieja and it’s very similar to a plate I had in Miami which I loved. Not quite the same but a good second. The Cuban sandwich could use some work but overall food was tasty. Service was fair not be most enthusiastic but got the job done. I will say the exterior of the restaurant looked very culturally accurate!
Food was delicious. The Pollo Coco Limon was very, very tasty and the Churrasco was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Our server was very friendly. Drinks were on the expensive side but delicious. We seated outside and had a great time late spring.
Fantastic experience! The ceviche appetizer was delicious and almond crusted halibut was out of this world. I highly recommend the guava cheesecake and coconut rum flan.
As someone who is raised with authentic Latin flavors from the Caribbean …this was a disappointment. I could tell the food was not made with love. While the ambiance was wonderful and the service was amazing the food itself was beyond lackluster. I could tell the rice was pre cooked from a package uncle bens to be specific and so were the tostones pre packaged Goya. The vegetarian options were subpar and the flavors not authentic to Cuban cuisine. I also ended up needing plenty of salt for my dish. I had high hopes.
We had a great dinner at Havana Grill! The Carne con Tequila was excellent! Our server was attentive and fun. We sat in a booth and it was a tight fit in the booth seats. As with many restaurants in Chicago, they get louder as the night wears on and they fill up. Overall, it was a good evening and I would recommend it.Food: 5/5
