Food was A+, spicy margarita C- did not live up to my standards, but the regular margarita A was well worth it. I got the green chile chicken enchiladas, and the fries. The bar crowd would be my reason for coming back! Very laid back and welcoming crowd.
Great vibe. Went here for a late brunch at 3 pm on a Saturday. Fortunately, they still were severing breakfast food. I tried the today's special - poblano potato pancakes with eggs and raspberry French toast. I really loved the potato pancakes. It came with two kinds of salsa. I hope they add this dish to their regular menu. French toast was just ok.. Do try the different kinds of margaritas. I enjoyed the cucumber jalapeños margarita!!
Nice gem in West Town. Parking was easy but metered, so be warned. The atmosphere was low-key and respectful, and none of that loud music drowning out conversations. The food had a southwest twist, but the menu included breakfast favorites. I had the French toast, and my BFF has the Flo Combo, which included 2 eggs, potatoes, and bacon. We also started off with their Bloody Maria, and I had a freshly made mango and banana smoothie with rum. Healthy and delicious, my second cocktail was a cucumber and jalapeño margarita...so refreshing. I will be back to try the house made chorizo and also the chilaquiles.
The food here is very good. Not really much more that I can add. There are many tex-mex places that have similar flavors. However, the service is exceptional; and if you habe a sweet tooth not my thing, their unique french toast and pancakes would be your thing here.
The shrimp sopapilla was really great, the perfect amount of dough, sauce, shrimp and spinach. The steak in the tacos were seasoned and cooked really well. I'm personally not a fan of flour tortillas, but the steak made up for it.
I really enjoyed Flo. If you're a first timer like I was I recommend the sopapillas. I was not expecting them to be so good and very filling. I got the nachos as well, but the main event was definitely the sopapillas. It's a small restaurant, but I actually liked that since it wasn't crowded and the vibe was very chill. Drinks are good too.
The experience in this place was good, I enjoyed the time here. We were sitting at the patio and the weather was fantastic. In our visit we order Green Juice Bloody Mary Chile verde Michelada Guadalajara Scramble eggs Black bean Burguer I asked with out bread and cheese gluten and diary free The food was great and tasted fantastic, I liked the green juice a lot. The customer service was nice.
Flo may have the best black bean burger I've ever had! At first, I thought it was too much food, but I'll admit, I was not disappointed this morning when I had something to come back to! Food: 1/5
It might’ve been an off day at Flo, but the experience and food was subpar. I was excited after reading all the reviews, but the French toast was just moist, bland bread, coffee tasted like water, and the server got all three orders wrong.
Spectacular attention to detail by cooks in the back, awesome southwest flavor with exceptional flavor. I'm actually blown away by the respect these staff are showing all individuals with the mixture of races and creeds in this restaurant.. this is a definite must visit.
