Special, distinctive lodging that makes you feel as though it was designed just for you, with luxury and comfort our guiding values.
The Hart House Bed and Breakfast is open and ready for business! We invite you to come and stay with us in our beautiful home. The house was built in 1904, a gesture of love and compassion from husband George Bates to wife Estelle Moore Bates, and she retains much of her original glory. Designed by architects, G.A. Rush and Company, of Grand Rapids, Michigan, she features a blend of Tudor and Craftsman elements, while presenting her own unique self. The City of Hart is a warm and welcoming small town with a rich history and abundant charm, (hartmainstreet.org). The house is within walking distance of downtown Hart, The William Field Hart/Montague Bike Trail, Hart Lake, Hart Public Schools, playgrounds, and the Public Library. It's also within 15 minutes of Pentwater, Michigan, the beautiful Charles Mears State Park on Lake Michigan and Silver Lake Sand Dunes. The Hart House Bed and Breakfast features 3-course homemade breakfasts using local produce and vendors, and luxurious rooms that have guests coming back again and again! We look forward to seeing you all!
