Happy Lamb Hot Pot

Arrived late in the afternoon, on a semi busy father's day. The restaurant was maybe 25% full. Was greeted right away and promptly seated. Took a while for our waitress to arrive and take our order for the hot pot. Once ordered, took another 15 minutes for our hot pot to arrive and food. An automated robot brings the food when the waitresses are busy...see photo The waitresses seemed very focused on the larger parties amongst the restaurant, hence, the smaller tables waited longer.or so it seemed. A small annoyance for my family and myself was the customers waiting to be seated. It's very difficult to enjoy your meal when your have 20 pair of eyes staring at you. Our seat was across from the front. Maybe a suggestion for the restaurant, add a glass partition to add privacy for the customer's who are eating. The food was delicious, portions were decent size. 27.99$ each person. Not a bad experience, maybe we'll be back.

Great hotpot spot if you're craving for it. AYCE with reasonable price tag. Usually no wait lines and you get seated quickly. Service is decent and fast. Recommend the lamb and beef, very thin cut and yummy with dip sauces. Their appetizer is great as well. I think it's one of best hotpot within Calgary.Food: 4/5

A fair experience if looking for hotpot with authentic flavors. The meats and vegetables were tasty and there was a reasonable variety. This venue fell short for me with the service or lack of. After dropping and picking up the menu or server was no where to be found. This may be a small one for some but lack of glass mugs or cups for drinking beer was not pleasant.

5 Star and best Hot Pot in Calgary. Food is fresh and prepared good. Taste is real Chinese. Service is quick and decent. The robot server is always the fun one.

Never been here before or when it was Mongolian hot pot. It was $26.99 pp and is one of the cheaper ayce in the city. The quality of the meat and seafood was good and the broth was flavourful. The only negative thing I have to say is the service is kind of slow and the staff have zero emotions.

It was my first time trying korean… as an indian, it wasnt the right spicy flavour that i expected… but it wasnt bad either… it was good but just not right for my pallette… i poved their sauces, small fried buns and the crispy chicken wings the most… Rest were all ok for me… i also like the huge bowl in front of you and boiling all your meat in it… please note that you have to pay them if you waste any of their meat… so order in portions that you are sure you will finish…

Went for dinner. We ordered few items but is not available. So kinda of disappointed somethings are supposed on the menu were missing, so take away one star. Place is clean, servers are attentive. Tables are far apart, good for social distance.

Great spot for hot pot in NE Calgary! We always look forward to Friday evenings; it’s super bustling and the service is fast at Happy Lamb. Quality is surprisingly good and value is fair. Keep it up!
