I had the pleasure of trying out Chicken N' Dough location in Ajax for dinner. I originally ordered two pounds of wings messy and honey hot flavors, order of fire fries and chicken quesadillas. I picked up my order and they were quite prompt in preparing the order. Once reached home, I realized they gave me everything except the fries. I was quite bummed out because I had heard great reviews about the fries. I called the restaurant to inform them about my situation and explained to them that since I was fasting the entire day due to Ramadan, I was looking forward to having a full meal. The restaurant owner apologized profusely and explained to me since it was during rush time, it happened accidentally. However he wanted to rectify the situation immediately and offered to deliver the order of fries to my home. Once he reached to my door, he politely apologized again and offered not just the order of fries but an ADDITIONAL large fire fries and 2 pound of wings. Both the fries and the wings were extremely flavourful, delicious and they can most definitely count me as a recurring customer! Thank you so much for the amazing customer service. I highly recommend this restaurant for your comfort food cravings!
Today I ordered 1lbs of wings, large fire fries and a Nashville chicken sandwich. The wings was amazing. Very well cooked, saucy and was very flavourful. Fire fries was a great dish for anyone who likes spice. The fries was crispy and saucy and overall a great dish. Its a non standard twist to fries. I was dissatisfied with the Nashville chicken sandwich. It didn’t have much flavour to it and the breading did not bind to the chicken, it was coming apart and because of that the whole sandwich was coming apart. The chicken was dry and was not saucy.
Amazing food! Had the messy chicken, pineapple curry, and fire chicken flavoured wings. All were fresh and delicious. Wings were nicely sized. Also had the fire fries, which were like chili onion fries, and were also delicious.
I am impressed by how quickly the food was prepared and importantly how well it was prepared. The chicken was fresh and delicious and perfectly breaded. I ordered two flavours: Garlic Parm and sweet Honey garlic. Garlic parm had no flavor, but honey garlic was great. The sandwich was too greasy think greasy breading but the rest of the sandwich such as coleslaw and bread was amazing, the meat itself was really well cooked. I think next time I would order different flavours because I was quite impressed by the quality of the food but not the flavours. I also did not know this place was take out so I was disappointed to see no seating area, but for a take out place it was INCREDIBLY clean and the take out was quick. This place definitely lives up to its name because it is quick, great quality food, at an OK price. For 2 lb wings and 2 burgers = $65.. not bad for quality food!
The wise soothsayer Dj Khaled once said "Another one". And indeed another fried chicken restaurant has entered the fray here in Ajax. At this point there's so many fried chicken places we pretty much have a checklist to seperate the good from the bad, so let's go through it: > Is the food decently priced? Yes > Are the portions well sized? Also yes > Is the chicken crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside? You bet! > What about the flavors? Full spectrum of sweet, tangy and spicy It should be noted that while they offer wings, sandwiches and wraps they do not offer traditional "full" pieces, which means no buckets Yet? But that doesnt take away from all the right things done and In the end "Chicken & Dough" ticks all the right boxes for when you're hungry.
Got the blazing chicken wings on a Monday, fortunate to find out they have a 1lb special for 10$. The wings slapped, fresh, crispy, nice sized wings, flavours were banging. Also ordered fries, which were decent. Definitely recommend.
Really tasty hot honey sandwich, it's my wife's favorite! I love their sauces, they have a great variety and you can mix them too so I'm always trying something new. They are friendly and flexible as well. Parking: Lots of parking available Dietary restrictions: Halal by hand
WOW Finally found the best wing spot in ajax. Ordered the honey garlic and usually by the time I bring it home it's soggy but these guys put the sauce on the bottom and my wings were SO CRISPY! My husband got the blazing chicken and he was super happy with it as well. We won't be going anywhere else. Can't wait to try other flavors! Fire fries are so good too.
I absolutely love this place! Let the pictures soak into your tastebuds. Hot Honey fried chicken combo upgraded to Tex-mex fries! Also, kind of thank you to the owner who made my food and then brought it over to where I was going to school.
Good experience. Friendly staff. Nice MUSIC. Could use more drink options such as ginger ale...would go there again. If youre getting fire fries, add cheese on top is a MUST! Part 2 May 5th went to restaurant...now had Gingerale as drink option! Consistent food. Changed 4 stars to 5 stars. Well done !
