Our experience here was not great, but that is not the hotel's fault. In all fairness the hotel handled it great. The hotel, rooms and staff were great. We stayed for an early flight so when the room next door decided to have a huge party until early hours we were a little annoyed. I think it was a hockey team staying there and it wouldn't have been a problem but they were so loud, kids yelling, drinking in the hall, running down the hall and banging the door open and closed from about 10/11 until 1am when it was dealt with. Other people complained and so the police were called. If you stay here on a weekend keep in mind that teams do stay here.
Very comfortable place to stay when traveling across Canada. Friendly staff and spacious rooms a bit spartan but fine for a one-night stay. Easy parking including EV charging. Plenty of good eating on-site and next door at the Keg. Noteworthy details: I stayed here twice on my way to and from the Canadian Rockies last October 2022. I found the staff very helpful with plenty of tips on where to visit while in Medicine Hat which is a surprisingly interesting place to visit; try Police Point Park, Saamis Tepee.
I stayed here for work over a weekend, not realizing that teams tend to stay here I saw this mentioned in a previous review. Kids were running in the halls/yelling/slamming doors well into the evening. The staff were absolutely lovely when I finally got frustrated around 10:30pm and complained. They found me a different room that was farther away from all the chaos. My bed was comfy, breakfast was good, and the coffee station in the lobby was especially nice in the morning. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because I don't think I would stay here again due to the noise levels. If you're looking for a nice quiet stay, this is not the place for it.
We stayed here because the reviews said it was a clean place. Our room wasn’t very clean. Edit- the manager resolved the issue and wasn’t aware of the state of the room. We will give this place another try in the future. Good customer service. Noteworthy details: Manager resolved our issue. Good customer service.
The lobby is super clean & friendly staff. The rooms are neat & clean as well. But, the rooms are VERY loud, bedding is uncomfortable, and the pillows are flat as pancakes. It’s a great hotel if you are staying a maximum of 2 days.
My experience staying here was absolutely awful we booked solely for the purpose of using the pool unfortunately a child got sick so they had to close the pool was told they couldn't give me a refund on my room since I booked with expidia my child got a severe bloody nose which he had to be taken to the emergency so the bathroom was full of blood I called front desk to ask for a few cleaning supplies which I was told they didn't have anything my friend was visiting so she took it upon herself to ask front desk where the cleaning supplies closet was so she could help them find something I asked at check out to have the manager call me Monday when they were available to chat its been 3 weeks havnt heard anything
Had a fantastic time here! Driving through Medicine Hat and had no hotel last minute, phoned the hotel and spoke with Sharmia I think that’s how you spell it but she was one of the managers on site. She was SO lovely and really made such a nice environment after a really long drive. She welcomed us in and gave us a great price on our hotel room + our dog. Thé breakfast was great, the room was so clean and nice, and the tv had sooo many good channels. Highly recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a good environment and vibe. Hotels can be weird but surely not this one!! Thanks sharmia for the fantastic service!! :
I wanna give the hotel 5 stars! I love the front desk,they are so nice and thoughtfulThe breakfast are tasty! The swimming pool is fabulous! But sorry your house keeping so loud! I put silent sign outside the door, there’s a man and woman walk around our door yelling, and knocked our wall from the other room beside us, they are so loud upstairs, when they doing cleaning, I‘m sure the noise is all from them. I can clearly heard their words, 2 days before I put a bag of garbage outside our door, the house keeper on that day take it away! So I thought is acceptable, today I do the same, the man is yelling”No that belong the toilet!”. I heard the woman is yelling the man’s name John or Johnny sth like that! I know hotel owner, it’s unfair for you, but the house keeping is including in the hotel, also it’s a important part! Thanks!
Definitely the best hotel we stayed in on our entire trip. The saltwater pool was a huge bonus and the hot tub was plenty warm enough. Continental breakfast in the morning was unrivaled by any other location we stayed at.Rooms: 5/5
A nice comfortable hotel although it is starting to show some signs of age and wear and tear on the fixtures and bedding. The one thing I def did not like is you could not pull outside fresh air into the room with the air conditioning unit. Staff was courteous and friendly and the room was pretty nice. Overall a comfortable stay here and would recommend staying at this hotel.
