Ask your doctor to refer you to someone else in this field. If I could give zero stars I would. His medical knowledge is probably good but his bedside manner and people skills is horrific. I would rather buy a new organ off black market and have the transplant done in a battle field in Uganda by a blind surgeon than ever deal with this human again in my life.
in my opinion, this doctor is not worth the paper his degree is writen on. If I could I would give this doctor 0 stars but must give at least one to recount the horrible experience with him. My husband is dealing with a condition that is life threatening and ripping his life apart and we were hoping that Dr. Hamour would be able to help. I feel now we were very wrong. After brief discussion, Dr. Hamour pulled out a ridiculous, iritable bowl syndrome theory; it does not address even half of the syptoms being dealt with and is not even an accurate description of the bowl issues. Seemingly saying the confirmed tests of infectious bacteria and the concerns of his other physicians were wrong. He did no tests of his own, and hadnt even bothered to look at the types and results of ones already administered. I felt like he was unprepared and had disinterest in the suffering of my husband. My husband was questioned in a manner that gave him no faith in Dr.Hamour's capabilities and that made my husband feel accused of fabricating and lying about the extent of his problems. This drove my husand to question Dr.Hamour about his understanding of his condition tested and confirmed condition** and capabilities; Dr.Hamour then became hostile, yelling at my husband and telling him never to return. In my opnion this does not speak well for bedside manner or basic respect for patients already being broken down by their conditions. When someone is trying to deal with something threatening their life and to have a doctor completely disregard them and their suffering; that is how people slip through the cracks of our medical system and end up dying.
