I've had doctors in the past that many people would describe as 'rude' without any issues whatsoever; I like doctors who are straight to the point which could come across as being cold or impolite. That's why I decided to try out Dr. Burg despite having read through his reviews online. My first appointment with him went quite well. On my second visit, however, the room I was led into was suffocatingly hot, so I waited outside the room. When he came to see me, I explained why I was in the hall rather than the room, and he told me that next time I needed to 'Sit down and behave'. He then denied my request to see a specialist because my condition was 'mild' (despite my having seen a specialist for this condition in the past) without asking any questions about it. I told him that I found his condescension and rudeness disrepectful and unprofessional, and he responded by saying he felt the same way about me. I told him it was no surprise all of his ratings online were 1 star, and he responded simply with 'Good.' Unless you plan on never getting sick, or only need a signature for a prescription slip, you're better off seeing literally anyone other than Dr. Burg.

Worse doctor ever, worse experience ever. I recently moved to PG from another province and I have been in a couple major accidents and have been on a pain management program. In the past 8 years i have been thru 2 pain assessments with trainined pain specialists and burg totally disregarded all the hard work I had done with the other specialists without even looking at a single document he took one look at me and judged my medical condition with one glance i wouldn't take my dog to this crook. He would ask me a question and then cut me off half way thru my answer and then ask me another question it was like i was on trial for my life and at the end he just got up and walked out. Guess that's what happens when your mom and dad are brother and sister. Go to a vet your better off.

Such a challenge to get the office to even just pick up the phone.
