Hamel Student Recreation Center

The gym does not have one scale. I have asked repeatedly when/if they would get a scale and have been repeatedly blown off. Such a simple request that I keep getting blown off for. Maybe listen to the people that attend the gym

Since recent update it is quite the place. Not perfect but great facility.....day pass is pricey. Only real complaint is cost. Year membership was 525 for 1 year for me....but i play basketball and is worth it if i avg just one day a week....but i avg about 2 1/2 times a week. Anyhow.....just need heated pool and is not luxurious, but is very sufficient for what i seek.

Well kept and cleaned gym. First floor has two basketball courts, a weight room with several upper body and leg machines with a line of treadmills. Second floor has more treadmills and ellipticals and general cardio machines. Surrounding the second floor is a ~160m track (10 laps is a mile). There are cubbies for backpacks and personal items. The second section contains two more basketball courts, offices, and some more assorted machines. It's much quieter than the main section. There is also a bouldering wall and several smaller sections with machines, free weights, exercise balls, and/or mats.
