Halibut House Fish and Chips

There is parking. The restaurant is clean, and so were the washrooms. The service was prompt and professional and helpful. The fish is delightful, the shrimp tasty and fresh. I had the halibut seafood platter. Amazing!! I also tasted the sweet potato fries, the best I ever had. I usual don't like sweet potato fries. They have crispy onion rings, which were really good too. There scallops were so tasty, they really topped off the dish. This is the place I am going, for fish and chips, from now on!!

Always My Go To Place when I can visit them during the week or sometimes in the weekend for breakfast. Nothing Beats a 4.99 Breakfast. The last time I visited I loved the customer service. The Lady was very nice and polite and always checked on me to see if everything was done right. I would always get my coffee refilled. Love going to this Place since I was young.

First time coming here for lunch take-out, I ordered a family pack of 2 halibut and 1 fries, only needed to wait 5 minutes. Fish was fresh and cooked perfectly, however batter was a bit greasy might because we ate it half an hour later. Overall food was good and portion was large, we could only finish two thirds of the fries. Staff was very nice too.

I got the halibut lunch special with fries and Greek salad $16.95, which if you can see by the picture, is still fairly substantial. My friend got the $4.95 breakfast, which as you can see by the picture, surprisingly was also fairly substantial. I wasn't expecting much for $5 and was pleasantly surprised. The deep fried fries and fish was not at all greasy and cooked just right. This is a greasy spoon diner - big servings, low prices, but not at all greasy. Parking: Free parking

Came here for in person dining breakfast again for the first time since the pandemic, so about 21 months ago. The breakfast special is up to $4.95 but it’s reasonable since food prices and operational cost have all gone up for restaurants. New menu with some more breakfast selections. We tried the eggs Benedict breakfast along with the breakfast special. All were tasty, the eggs Benedict comes on a slightly spicy corn bread just so are aware. Service and quality is good. And they are following all the current health and safely protocols.

Great portions bigger than my hand?! that will fill anyone up. Personally, I preferred the sweet potato fries over the regular fries because they were much crisper and came with a dipping sauce. The fish itself was moist and flakey, and the batter was soooooo crispy even until the last bite. I like that the food wasn't too salty, so that people could add more salt if they preferred. The coleslaw wasn't my favourite style I like the mayo based ones but it was still yummy and provided a good balance against the deep fried components.

Huge chips portions and the fish is good but not great. The chicken souvlaki is surprisingly very good. But where this place really shines is breakfast. Great diner style breakfast with large portions and good prices.

We ordered the The Monday $11 special and the House specials. The food are great. The Monday special is Excellent value in this economy. Very generous portion and taste great! We will definitely come back for more.Food: 5/5

Had breakfast date with mom this place has a $3.95 breakfast, found it the perfect portion for mama; with 2 slices of bread, 2 eggs, hash and 2 slices of sausages or bacons. Coffee not included Also tried out their fish and chips They have specials on monday, Wednesday and Sunday overall, quite satisfying

Ordered the haddock special for $11 available only on Sunday and Monday. They have a cod special for $12 on wed. Cons with coleslaw. The meal was very good. Fillet was thick and flaky. Fries was well done, great with lots of ketchup. This place doubles as a breakfast restaurant, with dishes starting from $4.95. parking is ample during the weekdays.
