Haines Mile Pub

A small pub with big taste! The place was very clean and no reservation was required on a Monday afternoon. The server was friendly and provided service with a smile. As with any drinking establishment, they had the usual pub food menu with a good selection of unique drinks to try. The $9 deep fried onion rings were delicious even the day after. The prices were reasonable with good portions and the 2 ounces drink was $9. I had the Demi God but I think that they should have a Goddess version. It was nice to see a local brewery on tap Churchill. We went in January 2022, so I am looking forward to the deck in July.

This place is unreal! Great food and service! We sat on their patio/deck and it is spacious and captures lots of sun umbrellas available. Table of 3. Guest 1- had the fish and chips: perfect batter to fish portion, the batter didn't fall off, the portion was hearty and it tasted amazing. Hand cut fresh fries, house made tartar and gravy! This is definitely a must try for fish and chip connoisseur. Guest 2- chicken and asparagus sandwich. Loaded with toppings, grilled chicken with a side of their poutine which came with cheese curds and gravy on the side to pour on. Guest 3 - Build your own Burger choice of Bison, Elk or Beef with a side of poutine. They had the beef patty. Think and juicy cooked to perfection. I highly recommend you try this place!

This is only a food review, and does not represent any drinks. Had the burger and fries. The BBQ sauce and toppings were all good, but the actual beef patty was quite bland. Fries are good. Also had chicken tacos, again just quite bland. Had brownie for dessert, was quite tasty. Overall food lacks flavour, needs something to liven up the tastes of the beef and chicken. Pulled pork was good. Quite average experience, no real reason to return based on the food alone.

First time there. Had their Haines Blonde ale draught, very good. For the meal, ordered the bison burger with the haskap onion sauce-very nice blend of flavours; also ordered the smoke salmon sandwich ... the Flatbread around the sandwich was perhaps just on the grill a tad too long, as the sandwich had a slight burnt taste. Clean place, friendly staff. Will go back!

Superb customer service!!! Partner got the PoutineWeekYXE special. I tried their fries and gravy. Really good! I got the bacon avocado sandy with a side caesar salad. Unfortunately my lettuce wasn’t exactly fresh, and I wasn’t planning on saying anything but they were really attentive and noticed me picking stuff off/out. They were very quick to correct it, extremely friendly/professional about it all, and it was delicious the second time around. :D Thank you, we will be going back!

Been here a few times now and I do enjoy it, but honestly the service the last time took an hour to even come take our order. The food has always been good but they always seem to be out of the drink I want. The trivia night was fun. Would probably go more often if it wasn't so far away and if the service was more consistent.

Super cool spot to hang!! The drinks are STRONG and the food comes out fast! Def a spot to catch up with old pals and watch the game!! Chris the manager is super nice as well

My wife and I stopped here for lunch today. This was the first time we've gone to The Haines Mile Pub and we were very impressed. The food was outstanding! My wife had the asparagus chicken sandwich and I had a Build Your Own burger with mushrooms and cheese. Both meals were delicious! This is a locally owned family business and we will certainly be going back!

I ordered the Bison burger with fries. The order can up fast and the server was nice. The burger was burnt. Just then the host came and asked if everything was okay? I told him it was burnt. He apologized and ordered another. The next burger was still burnt but not as bad, so I ate it. My wife was just about finished her fish and chips anyway. The paddy looked to be cooked from frozen it’s a $20 burger. We never did see the host again until we were walking out the door. Bison is hard to cook properly as the fat content is very low. The cook needs more training on how to cook Bison. The host needs to follow up after the second burger is served. It is normal to do some kind of bill adjustment when a customer is served burnt food. Last month I had a bad experience at Haines Mile Pub and wrote the above review. Today I am pleased to write a follow up to that review. Almost immediately after my review was posted the owner, Ryan reached out to me looking for more information. After emailing back and forth Ryan set to fixing the problems. Then he invited my wife and I back to give Haines Mile Pub another try. So on Friday we did. My wife had the fish and chips which she loved. I had the Maple Bourbon Salmon with Yukon gold potato’s and seasonal vegetables. We shared a locally made strawberry rhubarb with ice cream. This time the food was great, service was awesome and as a bonus there was a live band. Ryan came to our table to check in a couple of times. We invited him to sit and we visited for a while. Ryan is a very nice, genuine, and invested in running a local family business. We will be back again Ryan.

This is an amazing neighborhood restaurant. Food was absolutely perfect, had the appetizers. Wow price was also great The best service since Covid died Kelly was our server again amazing You just know how good a place is when the owners are not there. And everything is looked after A place to be proud of Well Done we will be back SWIFT CURRENT
