Somewhere Else Pub & Grill

Three of us for lunch. Two had the pickerel fish and chips and the third a crispy chicken wrap. This was served with two wines and a pint of beer. Our server was attentive and we received our orders in good time. Our meals were very good, hot, and well presented. Prices are fair and comparable to similar pubs. Very welcoming and friendly spot. I noticed a group of ladies who also were enjoying lunch while knitting. This is as well a music venue in the evenings which is well supported by the community and space can be limited. I recommend it.

Can't believe I haven't heard of this place until now but considering I'm 23 and the average age of customers there was probably 50 maybe there's a reason why.... lol. Went there for wing Wednesday. Amazing deal. Amazing food. Got creamy dill wings and they were perfect in terms of the flavour and amount of sauce. Partner's parents got a poutine and they said the gravy was really good. Partner and I got the nachos and there was so much cheese. The thing I most appreciated was the amount of sour cream and salsa that came with them. We got a half order and got probably a 1/2 cup worth of each to go with it, most places will maybe give you an ounce. That made me very very happy. Also had a Caesar and it was delicious. Will definitely be back!!!

The food here is amazing! I really enjoyed the live music I saw here. Lots of seating and good service. It's worth a trip out. I will be back!

Unfortunately my experience with this restaurant’s food and quality was horrible. Im from out of town, and I’m here for work; staying at a hotel so I thought I’d order in via UberEats. I read some of the reviews before I ordered my Steak Sandwich, and I even called the restaurant to get some details on specific items. They talk a great game, because the food I received was burnt and beyond it being edible. The steak looked like a piece of Black Coal, literally black. I asked for a medium well done steak and got a steak that was not able to be cut with the cutlery provided because it was so over done and hard. Friendly customer service but horrible food without any type compensation. Waste of money.

I come around every Wednesday, the staff are excellent, food is excellent and top tier vibes. Strongly recommend coming here if you get the chance.

Nice place to relax, chill and have a very delicious food! Those sandwiches are awesome! Local bread that taste so fresh and yummy! Service really good and fast! Loved it!

I’ve been coming here now for a few years . Absolutely love the food, always done right , taste great! Steak is spot on and flavourful ! The pub club , the steak sandwich, the soup , the salad, everything here is good. Best of all is the staff here that works here is amazing . The atmosphere is all such a chill vibe , no one fights here , and I especially love playing on stage here . The sound is great and it’s never too loud : thanks for keeping the doors open during Covid , and having somewhere for us to perform during all of that ! I’ll keep coming back always :

Yes, live music, decent bar food. Nice little hole in the wall type place. Especially fun when the dunk band plays
