Chengdu Noodle House

I have randomly stumbled on and enjoyed this little hometown joint immensely. The spices are used generously and authentically. Not sure why the rating is low, but I would definitely come again if I am in town. The only downside is, they did not inform me that I have to spend $40 to use my credit card, but again, all the dishes are so reasonably priced.

Very authentic Chengdu style food! Price is reasonable, service is good, dining environment is not bad, food is delicious! As someone from Chengdu, I approve this restaurant!

I don't understand all those bad reviews here. First of all, the food is great, love the numbing taste as it suppose to be. Second, the price is totally understandable, don't compete MacDonald with them, this is a restaurant! plus the waitress are so friendly. I will be back for sure! My go to when craving niche Asian foods. Noodle soups are very Chengdu flavored.... Like you are in a food stall in China kinda thing ..... And steam buns are very tasty. They even serve rabbit.

A noodle restaurant from west south China. but but do not try it if you can’t handle any spicy, SPICY......lol. Small portion and the price not cheap at all. CASH ONLY —that’s I don’t like it, so I gave it 2 stars. But very nice services. So, add one more star.

Family-run business and they don't care if you eat there or not. I think they open this place just so they have something to do. As to food quality, that will depend on how you define "quality". I'll give them a two stars just because I'm a nice guy. Besides, they never pretended to be something they are not. If you're looking to eat some unprofessional family cooking, yes you may like it. Otherwise, don't bother. You'll hate yourself for it.

So good — really accessible for everyone, too. We ordered Dan-Dan noodles, Xiao long bao, spicy wontons in hot oil, boiled peanuts, and sautéed greens. Everything was really good — the DD noodles was the best I’ve had since eating them in Chengdu — and I would highly recommend this place. Plus the servers were smiling and friendly — so good.

Portion Was huge. Was craving for fish n preserved veggie noodle soup.

Read previous low star review. I must say, they don't know what authentic Chengdu cuisine taste like... Of course your tongue will feel numb and spicy, that's one of the signature of Szechuan food... Tbh, they already tone and scale down the numbing spicyness down... if you've been to Szechuan Chengdu, you will know they can eat extremely spicy food. I've been to chengdu and I'd must say, this restaurant's noodle flavour is on par with flavour and less spicy. Portion is alright since I'm here to try noodles and dumplings.

Took a gamble trying somewhere new, and unfortunately this one was a miss. Similar opinion to other bad reviews, the portion sizes were on the smaller side and most of the food had no flavour. Also very sparse with main ingredients couldn't find any egg in the egg fried rice, and there were only green onions otherwise, as well as the beef inside our xiao long bao was so small. Honestly I don't want to sound mean but this food reminded me of like cafeteria food, or food from a truck stop area.
