Although the wait staff was friendly, the service was slow (1.5 hrs for a dinner service for 6 adults, 2 children, with basic meals like pasta and the special). I ordered the special- chicken with biscuits and gravy with mashed potatoes. Was served the meal but I noticed after I searched around the plate that there were no mashed potatoes. When I inquired, she checked and then came back to tell me the kitchen had run out of mashed potatoes but failed to notify them. ?? Then offered me a baked potato. However, they were nice enough to take the entire meal off the bill. Great music from Bill Ward and guest! We will try it again next time we're in town, but hopefully the communication between wait staff and kitchen improves!!!

What an awesome place to get a bite to eat. Can't wait for next season.

End of season. Dark inside and a cold evening. Food was good! Discounted specials. Met the chef.
