Haber's Compounding Pharmacy

This pharmacy is only about taking your money and nothing else!!! I had just filled out my first prescription of a controlled substance for my cancer pain with Haber's Pharmacy. Today, Saturday, I received a call that my prescription was ready, so I sent a family member pick it up; but there is one MAJOR PROBLEM... There are no warnings labels on the bottle and information that came with my prescription. NOTHING!!! All I received was an official receipt, and take 1mg twice daily when needed, but no instructions,no information, and or warnings. I called immediately when I received my prescription and got a young lady on the phone, who told me that she would check the system. She put me on hold and transferred me to an Asian accented female pharmacist, who told me that "I don't need any additional information about the prescription, everything is on the bottle." When I mentioned that I'm that other prescriptions, then the Asian accented female pharmacist said, "Well, the computers seemed to be down at the moment, I can't help you. Call back on Monday." So, meaning I will have until Monday (two days) to receive any information about my prescription. I tried Googling the information, but I'm at a dead end. I decided to call back an hour later and for 50 minutes, no one would pick up the phone. My prescription is a controlled substance under the Ministry and I have no information, no warnings, nothing, but a receipt, a label that I must call 2 business days for compunding and take 1ml twice daily. I am definitely having my file transferred to Smith's Pharmacy after this. Don't waste your time, go to Smith's Pharmacy!!! Update about my prescription: The compound wasn't done correctly! I have been in gut wrenching pain and this compound wasn't made correctly. Now I know why there is no warning labels on the bottle, my prescription was compounded wrong.

I'm not impressed with their (lack of) customer service. After being transferred from one person to another, they finally put me on hold for 20 mins. Then someone picks up, clears their throat and then hangs up on me. Huh???... So I call back but my call gets dumped into a pre-recorded message queue claiming I must leave a message and it won't accept any options to speak with anyone anymore... Whaaa... for a pharmacy who requires us to pay cash. (OHIP and insurance not accepted), they certainly don't do anything to earn our hard earned cash. Three days later and no call back so I call again... again... please leave a message and we'll call you back... never.... F.U. I thought...

It was a pleasant little pharmacy They are a small compounding pharmacy the pharmacist was nice and helpful.
