My wife and I enjoyed our visit. We have shopped at several H&W locations and this one was very nice. The store has great ambiance with great lighting. The store is clean and there is lots of room to move around in. There is plenty of parking and easy access to the store. This is a produce store so what is the produce like? it is great. Everything looked fresh and delicious. There everything from apples to yellow peppers. There is also some grocery items in store.
I love this place but this weekend left me with a sour taste in my mouth. I went there on Saturday to purchase produce. I used my phone to pay. The transaction went through with both google and my bank showing the transaction complete. But for whatever reason their till didn't show it went through. They then forced me to pay a second time for the food if I wanted to leave with it. I was then told if the transaction was still showing in my bank to go back the next day to get a refund for the balance, which I did today. This meant a second trip today to chase after my own money with very little done to help make things right on their end.nnMy lesson is, while I love their products, the customer service was much to be desired and if the transaction isn't flawless then just walk away but make sure your money is still yours.
My wife and I did a bit of shopping today and were really impressed by the price and the quality of food available here.nGreat choice for everyone.
They always have fresh stuff ALWAYS. Their parsley doesn't die in 3-4 days or turn brown and mucky like processed grocery store produce. I bought a bunch of strawberries and gave my neighbours a free pack because the deal was great!nOnce, I bought a bunch of herbs for my rabbits as I like getting them fresh stuff, the next day I went to my rabbits food bowl and found a SNAIL! Normally people would be grossed out, but it's a telltale sign these are naturally produced, especially if species like these are hiding around to try and eat it. I did a closer inspection on the snail and hadnt found any parasites sitting on it, which is especially good as the produce has not been touched by harmful bugs.nnI kept the snail. His name is now Carlyle. I am very invested in my roommate now and continue to buy here often in hopes I find another snail but so far I haven't been lucky yet, fingers crossed! LOL I want more snails now!!!
A beautiful, tidy store and the produce is priced so well. I know people have complained that it goes bad right away but in my experience that is not the case. Absolutely worth the trip over. I buy all of my produce here now.
