Hôtels Gouverneur Le Noranda

Giving this hotel 3 stars. To put it simply, this hotel is a wanna look good Hotel. But when you look at all the small details here and there it’s really badly maintained. The heating in the room itself is fine, but doesn’t reach the bathroom. Floors were freezing cold and the shower casing was cracked. For sure water infiltration in there for who knows how long. Might even be worse under there. Went to the restaurant and ordered salmon with side of rice and veggies. Again, presentation was good, but the ingredients and the seasoning were poorly executed. For a 30$ plate you’d hope it doesn’t taste like pre cooked meal. Service from the front reception counter was great. Both the evening gentlemen and the young lady this morning were very polite and courteous. Very unfortunate that the management and the chef of the restaurant aren’t putting as much effort in this establishment.

Giving this only a 3 stars since even if the hotel is fully booked due to a yearly festival, the have the most lousy «continental» breakfast. No breakfast à la carte on the weekends and the «buffet» is unseasoned very scrambled eggs, bacon/sausages and potatoes. Very few fruit selection and one flavoured yogourt. I would of thought for this type of restaurant dinner is absolutely amazing here there would be a better quality! The food is tasteless so I drowned everything in maple syrup

The whole experience was extra good. We spent time in the spa area, restaurant and the room. 5 stars all the way with Le Noranda

Good hotel, clean rooms and service was good! Bed was very comfortable!

Everything was great. Beds and room were clean and smelled nice.nRestaurant, Le Cellier was very good!nOnly downside, lack of water pressure in the shower.
