We had an amazing time at Gyubee! Our server, Zac, was exceptional and would consistently check up on us to make sure everything was alright! The food was absolutely delicious! Especially the sweet soy marinated short ribs and the crème brûlée! I would definitely recommend this place for a family gathering or friends hangout :
Great vibes, and friendly staff.nnGood variety of meat available but lots of beef options!nNot a huge fan of the shrimp, but chicken thighs and chicken wings were very good.nnThey also have potatoes, salad, corns, pineapple, and zucchini etc etc!!!nnLove the crunchy sushi and overall, the experience is fun with a group of people.nnDessert - the creme brûlée & vanilla ice cream is Basic but they both were very gooood.nnSome of the meat portions may seem small, but the service is fast so it’s recommended to keep ordering as you’re eating.nn***I don’t recommend this for vegetarians***nnFor pricing, I personally feel $42pp is a bit extreme in this economy, and that an ideal price would be between $35 - $39nn***They also don’t accept credit, only cash or debit card cards***
Good food. If you want a decently good all you can eat Korean/Japanese bbq, I highly recommend this place. The food comes out quick and you can order as many of the same dishes or meat as you want. I personally just love eating only beef but some of the pork and seafood are good too. Make sure you order a whole lot at once since the beef slices cook really fast. As you can tell I love their crème brûlée as well. Definitely worth the price if you’re eating until you can’t walk or breathe.
They have a great variety of amazingly tasting marinated meats, the atmosphere is truly fantastic, warm and welcoming. The tables are large with an excess amount of room.nnThe serves while clearly over worked they somehow still have big smiles on their faces, are very friendly and super apologetic.nnOur server was very much on top of changing out our grill regularly without being asked.nnLost a star because:nnWhen we showed up they were understaffed with only one server for the entire restaurant.nnWe have gone a couple times in the past few years and we're always told the same thing. Sorry were under staffed.nnI feel it would be highly beneficial for this restaurant to update their ordering system so patrons don't need to track down under staffed and busy servers to continuously order food.nnAdditionally they don't offer credit card - I can only assume given the experience this is due to the credit card fee. This is a problem as there are many debit accounts out there that you have to select as paying with credit meanwhile it's use is a debit card.
Sorry this review is a few days late! I think our server’s name was Oscar, but if I got that wrong I’m sorry nnWe came to Gyubee with 5 people and pretty much ordered the whole menu Everything was really good and tasted super fresh. The brisket and sushi were definitely my favourites, but honestly there wasn’t anything we ordered that I didn’t like.nnThe service was awesome too. Our server was really nice, funny, and patient with us, especially because we took forever to get started and figure out what we wanted He never rushed us and made the whole experience a lot more fun.nnAlso, DO NOT skip dessert. The ice cream and crème brûlée are must-haves. I’m lactose intolerant and still decided they were worth the consequences nnWe ate way too much, had a great time, and will definitely be back.
