Gulbay Turkish Bakery

This bakery store is amazing! They most probably bake the best quality pies, and traditional Turkish savory buns etc. Products are usually produced freshly in store and served quickly. The cashier was cherry and courteous. Prices are affordable, portions were great.We are waiting to visit again soon! Thank you!

I was on my way to dinner place yesterday evening, drove by a small plaza and a red sign caught my eye balls. It was Turkish bakery! Since it was my first visit, didn't know what to get at the beginning, but then a gentleman staff? Owner? Explained very clearly to me, so that I know what I like to try. I picked a feta cheese bun, potato bun and a poppy seed walnut roll, they were very delicious!!! When warm up these buns in the oven, attractive aroma running allover my kitchen, I like the texture and taste so yummy.

November 13, 2021 VERY friendly staff/owner. FRESH and OMG DELICIOUS. I have driven by this place numerous times and have also had it on my mind to drop by one day. Finally, that one day, ended up being today. This place truly is a HIDDEN GEM! Purchased several different assorted DELICIOUS Pastries, Turkish Cookies, Fresh Bread, Gozleme with Feta, Gozleme with Spinach and Ground Beef Really enjoyed all the baked goods. Selection of Jams. I got the Fig Jam. Turkish delight. Quality Service! Whatever I say, is not enough for this place. I have included some pics. January 28, 2022 About couple of weeks ago, they opened their new store next door. I still stand by what I said couple of months ago...EVERYTHING is so fresh and delicious. I loved this place: It was my first time at a Turkish bakery. I didn't know most of the desserts but wanted to try. The person working there was very nice. He answered all my questions. We chose a sampler plate with desserts + Simit with cheese. We also tried the turkish coffee. I loved the atmosphere and the sitting area. I wished we had a similar bakery close to our place

This place is adorable. It’s run by a beautiful family. Its both a bakery and a quick stop turkish good shop. They have a little eating area which makes sense and Iove. We tried out quite a bit of bread and bakery items… but we ate them really fast yeah it’s that good and forgot to take a picture uploading a picture of the food when i realized halfway that i forgot to snap a picture of it The cashier is very sweet, and probably the kindest soul you’ll meet. I’ll always recommend this shop. And do try the potato gozleme and the feta pogca!! 9.8/10

What a delightful lunch stop! Everything was so fresh and tasty. The guy serving was very helpful, describing everything for us, so we can decide. He warmed up for us some of the pitas.

First time visiting this bakery and I loved it. Though it's quite small and quite of a drive very out of the way!, I really enjoyed it. There is a wide variety of items to choose from and being able to get a peak of the goods being baked fresh is even better as you can guarantee you're getting quality products. Choose from simit, pide, gozleme and a variety of savory/sweet cookies among many other things. You can also find some imported products from istanbul. I came specifically for the breads and tried the gozleme as well which I loved. I found all prices to be very affordable and I look forward to coming back very soon.

Absolutely amazing! This is by far the best place in Canada that you can taste Turkish bakery. You can find delicious borek, bagels, cookies, lahmajoon and many other Turkish products in this family business. The staff is very friendly and always greet you with a warm smile. Highly recommended place in GTA.

I've never been to a Turkish bakery before. I asked a few if my customers what should I have and I got all sorts of recommendations. I was not disappointed with any item. The mother cookie, was.outstanding.
