Large portions, amazing staff and extremely budget friendly. This has been my go to spot for lunch every Tuesday. They will even do a build your own tacos so you can take it home to your family. Living just outside of the city this makes my Tuesday dinner a breeze! You must go! 2.49 for a luxurious taco I mean.... how can you go wrong???
I recently tried the burrito bowl , and I have to say, it was amazing! The flavors were perfectly balanced, and each ingredient was fresh and delicious. I loved the combination of rice, beans, meat, and vegetables, and the toppings added just the right amount of crunch and texture. The portion size was generous, and I was full and satisfied after finishing my meal. The service was also excellent, and the staff were friendly and attentive. I highly recommend trying the burrito bowl. you won't be disappointed
My dining experience at this restaurant was disappointing on multiple fronts. Firstly, I requested soft corn tortillas but was served flour tortillas, which was a letdown from the start. The uncomfortably warm ambiance, likely due to the grills, made the dining experience uncomfortable. The tacos themselves lacked any remarkable flavor, and I felt I could make better ones at home. What was most disheartening, however, was the portion size. The meager amount of meat provided in the tacos left me unsatisfied, and the ground beef was excessively salty. After finishing my meal, I was still hungry, which is far from ideal. To make matters worse, the price point was unreasonably high. I paid $13 for just three tacos, and when you factor in the tip, it cost me $15. For this amount, I could have enjoyed authentic, satisfying tacos from BMC market and left with a full belly. I strongly advise against trying this place out as it's simply not worth the money.
Excellence Mexican Restaurant!!! Nation and Tinkal are best and happy staff always smiling, I recommend to everyone. I love coming here every other day. And it is best place to have my lunch and dinner. I always take chicken bowl for my lunch and enjoy maxican music playing in the store.Food: 5/5
Trio tacos were bursting with toppings! The hot sauces were very tasty as well, a d complimented the tacos perfectly. I'll definitely be going back.Food: 5/5
The staff was very friendly and helpful! The food was absolutely amazing! When I first walked in it felt like all the other Mexican restaurants but when they put the food together I was impressed!!! The portions were huge, it was bursting with flavour, and best part the GUAC was free! The price point was on the higher end but worth every penny! Must place to go, will be recommending it to friends!!! Parking: Easy parking
I made an impromptu stop and very glad I did. The restaurant was empty but had nice Latino music playing. Naitik was working and he was extremely kind and friendly, as well as helpful. It was my first time at this restaurant and he said "don't worry, I have lots of questions for you, but will make you a good enchilada" He explained it took about 5 min and suggested I sit in the restaurant to eat it, rather than take it "to go" When he brought it to the table, he said " I made it special for you, I like cooking and making it look nice" He took the time to add a smiley face out of the sauce He himself was always smiling! I will definitely go back, with friends and family!

I am confused by the positive reviews on here that led me to this place. Despite the numerous 5-star ratings, my experience was far from satisfactory. The tacos, which I ordered based on the high praise, elicited more amusement than delight when I finally tasted them. The cost was disproportionate to the meager portion size. I could have made better ones at home for a quarter of the price using ingredients bought at Sobeys which is where it looks like they buy their tortillas from. They come straight out of a package and aren’t made fresh, which is what I’d expect for the high price. The tiny portions of unseasoned meat and sauces failed to impress, while the vegetable offerings made me think I had been teleported to a Subway. This trend of highly-rated yet underwhelming establishments seems to be growing in Winnipeg, leaving me questioning the credibility of online reviews. To compound matters, communication with the server was challenging.
