Habener Sombrero

I've been to Habanero Sombrero twice since randomly trying new restaurants. I was very nicely surprised with the quality of the food. Fresh ingredients, beautiful presentation and excellent customer service.

The cashier was friendly. Upon his suggestion, I got a shrimp, a fish, and a chorizo taco, and they were all delicious. The spices and flavours were all well balanced. Their hot sauces didn't agree with me the day after...

Their quesadillas and nachos are the best! But the shrimp tacos were a let down. Nice spot to grab your food and relax at the Forks.

Taco Monday anyone? My boyfriend and I tried tacos from Habanero Sombrero today! We got two mushroom and two black bean, both were tasty. They were juicy but not soggy and we loved their soft shells, they had just the right amount of crunch but still folded around the filling. I enjoyed the mushroom one a bit more, I really liked the texture of the mushrooms, gave it a ‘meaty’ feel. But my boyfriend liked the black bean ones better. So I guess you’ll have to go try them out for yourselves and let us know what you think!

I’d give this place a zero if I could Never again! Be careful going to this resto. After spending several hours there the wait staff who was anxious to leave early called the police claiming we had drank all day when in fact these two weren’t even present and did not serve us. I was stopped by 4 RCMP and given multiple road side breathalyzer tests all of which came back fine and instead of telling me why I was stopped the officers lied and claimed I failed to signal but I was already in a private parking lot. gas station and didn’t make any turns. when placed in the back of the cruiser the officer forgot to close the computer screen which said that myself and my boyfriend spent the day boozing it up at the Mexican restaurant and then drove off. Slanderous! Not my boyfriend and after half a glass of beer x2 over 8 hours and lots of food and dessert this was an awful experience. Next time we will take our $300 and spend it where it will be appreciated. In the meantime, we plan to speak to a lawyer over how we were treated because of this resto’s false claims. Never will we visit here again and we will make sure we tell everyone we know not to go here!

Really great having tacos outside at the Forks! Black bean was a amazing and the slow roast beef brisket was tasty, but very oily!

Just amazing food, if you want to try the best amazing Nacho Supreme n their quac dip. No words to describe their homemade nachos

Tacos were tasty good size and decent price for the forks.My only complaint is you get literally ONE leaf of cilantro. I asked for extra cilantro and got TWO leaves. I wouldn’t go back be sure I need a good taste of cilantro on all my Mexican food!

The whole menu is Gluten Free!! Had the beef and the pork tacos, they were great. Then I tried the fish tacos, they were amazing! So good that I can't bring myself to try anything else, cause all I want is those when I even think about that place. they have the best gf breading, mmm. Now I want one, or 3 lol.
