Ground Burger Bar

YUM! If you love a good burger, then you’ll love Ground Burger Bar. I went for lunch & sat on the spacious patio. Started with the pickle chips which were absolutely delicious & I highly recommend! I had the Cali Burger for my main, which was a great choice! The veg was fresh & the burger was cooked exactly how I wanted med rare . I loved the combination of banana peppers & avocado, to the softness of the potato bun! My friend really enjoyed her custom built grilled chicken burger. The fries were definitely a standout! they were perfectly crispy & hot! I added the truffle garlic aioli which added the perfect amount of sweet & salty to the meal I will certainly be recommending & returning for round 2! 5 ’s

My favourite go-to place in Newmarket!! So many delicious choices for burgers and decently priced considering the quality. They changed their menus during the pandemic and again after but I’m glad to see that they kept some of the favourite choices for burgers. The Waygu burger is always a really great choice though heavy!

Amazing on a bun, with a drizzle of amazing and finished with a dash of amazing. The live music is seriously good. The service is fast and friendly. GBB Smash burger is a personal favorite. A lot of detail has gone into selecting every sauce, topping, seasoning and ingredients, and it shows. The brioche bun was sensational.

My Nashville burger was slightly too burned for my liking but overall, tasty burgers! The food also takes a while for it to come out, but it wasn’t much of an issue because we were enjoying the patio outside. They also played live music which was very entertaining. Highly recommend the onion rings! They’re perfectly crisp and thiccc

Service was attentive and prompt. Open kitchen was nice to see and the atmosphere was classic pub. Food was excellent - burgers were cooked perfectly for my taste and the fries were great. Will definately come back to try more off the menu for sure! Their Wagu Burger looks like its next on the list. Kid-friendliness: Great kids menu with generous portions. Parking: Lots of parking close. Wheelchair accessibility: Level ground throughout.

Visited this place with my boyfriend for dinner on a friend's recommendation. It did not disappoint. The atmosphere and ambience was great with a live band playing. The hostess seated us in the outdoor patio. Our server greeted us and took our orders swiftly. While our drinks came right away, we did have to wait a little longer for our burgers to arrive, yet it was delicious and cooked to perfection. Would love to try their build-a-burger option next time!

Located near Newmarket’s Riverwalk, this place has warm rustic decor, great burgers and sandwiches! I got the OG Chick, the hubs got the Smash Macwhich he devoured in minutes Fries were also really crispy and delicious! Make sure to ask for extra napkins as it can get messy! Service was amazing and very friendly as well.

Grabbed take out from thus since the reviews were so good and it's been rated highly as burger place in Canada for 3 years #17 in 2020. The menu is incredibly diverse with kids of options for buns, proteins and toppings, as well as a build your own. At first glance, the portion size of the sides looked small because the contents didn't fill up halfway in the container, especially the sweet potato wedges but after eating everything, I was very full. The burgers are really good, perfectly cooked, full flavoured and very juicy. It's a messy eat but worth it. The sides are really good too, perfectly fried no oil residue and not overly salty. If your looking for a good burger place, come visit.

I tried both their smash burger and one of their chicken sandwiches "ken" Both were amazing. I think I actually preferred the chicken over the burger. Sides and apps were also so good. Their cheese sticks were one of the best I've ever had. They also have a ton of add on options and sauces. My only criticism is that it was a bit salty but other than that I look forward to going again very soon!

Came here on a beautiful sunny evening while walking near Fairy Lake. It’s the summer effect I tell you. We were quickly seated in the outdoor patio and our server was very nice and polite. I did not catch her name but it was her 2nd day and it was out first in the restaurant . After much deliberation we ordered the field of greens veggie burger and I got the burger of the month, a once a month people’s choice burger; nice concept. We also ordered the sweet potato fries and a side salad . The burgers are slightly on the pricier side but both burgers were unique and unlike anything we have eaten before. The veggie burger was a smashed chickpea and barley patty with seasonal vegetables and was very pleasing to the palette. It did not take chalky like some of the other veggie patties we had eaten before. The burger of the month was a double patty with crispy bacon and cheddar crisps, caramelized onions, and pickled jalapeños. The flavors married well together - slightly sweet, salty , and smoky - was a burger well constructed and worth biting into. The salad was fresh but my favorite though, and by far the best I have come across , was the sweet potato fries. This is a must have. The fries were soft and sweet on the inside but had a nice crispy and thin outer coating with fragments of herbs. And it stayed crispy till we finished the last morsel. The aioli was not overpowering and accompanied the fries beautifully.
