Grey Rock Casino

Casino was immaculate. We had hours of fun. Great for a driving break between Ontario and Cape Breton, NS. Will definately return on our way back.

Stopped there on our way to Saint John, plenty of parking space at the truck stop for a tractor trailer, and the food at the restaurant was awesome we had "Le Burger" and sweet patato chips !! Really good food!!

Yes... Seating and service was a slow start... We almost left after our first drink for the next door chicken place. We decided to give the staff a chance since the menu was enticing. We were pleasantly surprised at the wine selection and ESPECIALLY the prices... Good quality wine for a very fair price (24$/bottle). We opted for the ribeye special. Very good cuts, nice portion. And I mean a very nicely marbled slab of beef. Smoking is permitted on the terrace so we enjoyed our drinks in a very relaxing environment. Being tourists, out of our element... The manager Mario helped us out with finding a hotel room. Shawn at the front desk gave us the full run down of the premises. Our waitresses Kimberly and Lise gave us the royal treatment. The service made us feel like weekend royalty. We ate very well, drank our fill and enjoyed the slots responsably. My soon to be fiancé and I made two new wonderful lifelong friends. To end our night, security handled the taxis and our Grand Cherokee spent the night in a very well lit parking, surveillance included. This was our best evening experience in a very long time. Grey Rock casino is on list for next year's vacation... And we are looking forward to the inauguration of the soon to be Grey Rock hotel.

They had a deciving promo on with dinner. They said we would get $10 to spend in the casino. False advertising. They failed to say we had to spend our own $10 to get it. If it had been properly explained we would have been fine but they all hid the crucial information that we had to spend our own and we put our money in thinking we would get it back.
